The ould lad on the loader is sone operator, he looks about 75. If the young lad thinks silage began 40 years ago he needs to do some more research, silage making in Ireland started on 1965 heading for 60 years.

What a video! My folks live in the area, and a highlight of the year growing up for my brother and myself was getting to see Roger's big New Holland combine cutting the wheat or barley behind my folks house for a local farmer. Still hope to make it home each August to see them in action again.

Yeah, it was always a busy time to finalise them over Christmas and have them ready for the FTMTA and spring machinery shows along with a host of model shows…

Mighty Video. Gear has got a lot bigger and a lot more expensive since then even though its only 10 yrs. Seasons have gotten shorter aswell. Very professional contractor with a great spread of work to keep him going all year round.
