  I mean, prisoners need to be properly cared for. I don't have a problem with them wanting to play hockey, but I am talking ball hockey on a tennis court or something, with wal-mart hockey sticks, and tennis balls. If it snows and they want to play, here are some shovels, they can clear it themselves. Crafts? sure. But nothing that would require any tools or anything. I just come at it from a point of view of managing the prisoners, not giving them a life sentence at a resort.

  Medium is just a wing or outbuilding of a Max but the minimums are resorts , I would love to find a way to get a bunch of time at Williamhead on Vancouver Island , Golf course Tennis courts Hockey etc plus barbeques and a store that sells beer a short walk up the road ( inmates have been known to hop the fence to make beer runs and return ) plus conjugal visits are petmitted What kind of moron would run away from that ? There isn't a retirement community in the country that stacks up to that place .

  The fact that both Bernardo and Magnotta are serving time in a medium security prison blows my mind and not in a good way. It was disgusting that Homolka signed a deal that allowed her to live a good life, but at least they could have made sure Bernardo spent the harshest time we could give, same with Magnotta. But didn't we also let some guy who decapitated another person on a bus freedom after only a few years? That makes me feel like our politicians take our best interests to heart. Our justice system is a fkng joke.

  When the Sandersons were on their killing spree, I questioned why wasn’t their federal inmate status wasn’t mentioned. I knew for a fact they both had served time, and had done time in the Maximum security. Wasn’t for how many weeks or months it was mentioned. Most medium security places have some form of entertainment like hockey rinks, pool tables etc. Sask Pen had a mini golf. Also sounds like Bernardo was either running a store, or was owed favours. Guaranteed he had a game station, radio etc. most long term offenders do. Also take a look as to their medications and what happens when they divert it. Do they get cut off, nope. And the CSC MDs don’t care.

  This is all politics, this guy doesn't give a shit about Paul Bernardo or his living conditions. Overly dramatized video...Once this spins out of the news cycle, I'd like to see if he's still talking about this. Why am I not surprised you flashed a picture of Trudeau, somehow this is his fault? Bernardo was convicted over 20 years ago, his sentence has covered 4 Prime Ministers

  MP Caput is honest and forthright and cares about public safety. I know because MP Caputo is helping me, and cares about keeping an NCR patient that poses a significant threat ME! and to public safety, where he belongs, in the hospital, away from me and the public!
