The optimism of a brighter future and finding a better path usually only comes with a clear understanding of how lost we are in the first place.

Ive noticed that fully allowing myself to feel the sadness and less comfortable feelings gives me more of an appreciation for the happiness and most beautiful things in life. I love music that acknowledges the sadness, pain, anxiety, and frustration in everyday life because it reminds me that I'm not alone and its okay to feel these things... its okay to not be okay sometimes.

Mr. Manson, Your music has always been a bit of a drug to me. It speaks to my soul. I have been a fan of your music since the latter half of the 1990's.

Music is a way to transmit feelings and emotions in a poetic way that isn’t able to be done through any other medium, and Radiohead just feels real and visceral and raw and that’s why I love them and so many people do

A lot of Radiohead’s songs are very much gloomy, but some of the songs people describe as sad confuse me. High And Dry is not a sad song, neither is Reckoner or literally half the tracks on their first 3 albums. The “saddest” albums to date are probably Amnesiac and A Moon Shaped Pool.

my friend loves this band..Kid A is ok..the drum work on in rainbows is ok...but..no matter what the opinion is about the band the delivery is melancholy on a good day. So..do with that what you want. The comments are overwhelmingly depressing too. Yes boys...feel. but you dont have to stay there. Please dont tell me its my ignorance. Choosing to sulk in sadness is a real problem.

Anyone who thinks Radiohead is all sad are people who aren't paying attention. They are the greatest band of all time and each album is an amazing observation of the current zeitgeist
