living in tel aviv, i see a very different story. it's true israeli news doesn't broadcast the chaos and death in gaza but they can get it on youtube. they blame civilian gazan deaths on hamas. they're determined to keep fighting to destroy the tunnels and while they know they can't destroy the idea of hamas, they feel enough gazans will realize there are consequences. their credit rating was lowered slightly, but israeli military sales are at a record level this year. there's no tourism, but they know it will return when the war ends. a sovereign wealth fund was newly created only a few yrs ago and is generating impressive yields. it's known that the saudi leader is anxious to normalize w israel. a % of israelis chose to sit out the war in cyprus, turkey or elsewhere. people are going to restos, cafes, the beach as if there's no war.

Many of the dances were masked as fighting moves. The fact that Africans sold their own people captured from weaker tribes. Many slaves were the average investment of the equivalent of the cost of a modern day vehicle. Hard life yes but slavery was common throughout history. The word slave comes from Slav or slovic which originated from the Bardary pirates. Which yes was Africans capturing white ships and slaving the white man and selling them to the Muslim's. The Muslims started the slave trade first enslaving white people. The white man ended slavery after 200-300 years. The Muslims enslaved whites and blacks for thousands of years. Look up Bardary pirates and see the white slave trade nobody ever seems to care about.
