I don't have letters after my name which gives us the freedom to go right to every avenue of healing at our fingertips.
I do have the experience of being raised in a toxic family system riddled with addictions, mental illness and abuse of every type slathered in every crevice. I even wrote a book on it. Traditional therapy did help me nail down the storyline, but real transformation came later.

Just stop abusing your children! My mom was raped and impregnated by her own father forcing her to have home abortions using a wooden spoon at the hands of her own mother, multiple times all before the age of thirteen! He’d come home and drug them my grandma, aunt mother and uncle and pimp them out to his friends! My grandfather was raped by his father and likely so on! But my mom loved me and protected me. She had me with a man who would never hurt me and continued this behaviour! Stop feeling sorry for yourself and just live your life!

People know when they got sober.. not I think
Some don’t. When a person heals they either mark the day it happens, or they just live their life and live in the now. I once was an addict but I am no longer an addict. When did it happen? I’m not really sure. When did I become an addict? I’m not really sure about that either. I can tell you that I’ve put my addiction behind me roughly 10 years ago.
I'm 67 now, and I started my journey around 18. Been on and off therapy for almost 5 decades now. Best decision ever! The generational abuse stopped with me. Unfortunately, not my sister though. Nice to see others having similar experiences. Thanks for sharing. 😊

It took me around 20 years to help myself heal the CPTSD within my body. Every step is a step towards better. It's worth working on, because you can heal your CPTSD.

Nailed it! What you avoid or dismiss is usually the key to liberation. Holding and hearing what my inner child needed to say lifted heavy burdens off my heart. The inner child’s voice may seem insignificant, you definitely know better but she doesn’t so give her the stage and let her speak so you can tell her everything is alright now💕🌟the veil is lifting.
