I LOVE that Naley scene! They were always the best part of the show for me. It’s weird that Mark’s description of the Lucas & Haley scene doesn’t match the actual scene. Neither of them say one word about why they chose Nathan & Brooke as love interests. We got to see them discuss why a little bit in other episodes but I would’ve loved a longer scene about it especially Haley’s POV since Nathan was her soulmate. That Nathan & Dan scene is one of the few scenes that I agree should’ve been deleted. It made no sense with how angry Nathan was when he returned home at the end of that episode or basically the rest of the season (s).

I wanted to add that Lucas was wrong about Deb’s supposed disapproval of Brucas. She was simply worried about Lucas misbehaving while his mother was away in Italy and when Keith was responsible for him. I don’t think she wanted anything to go wrong with Lucas while he was under Keith’s care. It had nothing to do with her looking down on Brucas.

It was the best one even Chad, James, & Bethany didn't show up on TRL. Tyler Hilton did return to One Tree 🌳 Hill in season 4 & the 9th & final season. I love Sophia Bush so much & love her raspy voice which I adore & hear with. The show is set in 2003 but in real life, it was 2004 which confused the cast members because they weren't in the same timeline that we were in during the time and then it even got more complicated during the four-year time jump.

I’m a huge brucas fan, so when he cheated on Sophia I was so upset. But it was a long time ago and they were both really young. That doesn’t make cheating right ever, but he doesn’t deserve all the hate today still. Besides, seeing their personalities and the way they both are today I don’t think they would have lasted in the long run anyway. They both have grown and matured a lot in the last 10 years and are definitely not the same people they were when they were 21, 22 years old.
