Trying to figure out if these are approved for use with the Sportster CS seats. @@tdottme no further information. Although the Sportster CS in my car is an OEM seat from a Megane RS Trophy. It's also the M Performance seat in the E9x generation cars.

I love my 1994 LWB with 297K on the original 4.2 and transmission. It's been my daily mule in the mountains for 10 years, all climates, all conditions, all elevations, all terrain, conquered with ease. Never stuck, never worried about getting stuck. Yes it will have mechanical issues, but I'm a mechanic, so I have had good "luck" with it.

Yeah. now these are widely demanded by European investors/collectors/restoration giants, Aspen residents of course... used to be able to beat these offroading cheap in Usa... now a fella cant find abandoned/rotted/no title roach project for under $3500!! I know a guy breaking them, from USA, shipping the valuable interiors/burl/dash/ drivelines to breakers in Europe/England now making a fortune! Great cars. I had a Speed Yellow 996.1 GT3 CS for many years and was the best car I've owned by some margin. Had a Manthey K400 upgrade, Mk 2 brakes, Cup Steering wheel and was set up for track by a well known Porsche UK specialist. Really miss that car.

Still on the same battery after all these years. It's never needed anything other than the alternator (which the battery is specifically designed for). I've actually just shipped the car to Australia and it even started after a 3 month boat ride 😅 pleasantly surprised!

my 2001 SF5 forester GT - I put a ej207 sti ra jdm short block in - fully reco heads = wow so smooth and a great little engine , only TDO4 turbo with 440cc injectors - running in = 7,500kl only - 5 oil changes and new STI filter .

More capable off road than a defender, I've owned 3 RRC, well looked after they are decent. Remember, this was the flagship of the LR fleet hence more money was spent on development and more money was spent on quality of components than lower members of the LR family 👍

Did you charge that battery was it connected all that time ? I have the bigger one dies after a few months if stood. Car sounded amazing going past on the track motorsport rasp underrated noise. Im gonna be doing underside upgrades come summer in my garden with possibly a mobile welder for bad spots if any then the Vince brace /epoxy if isn’t too bad previous owner hd the subframe bushings done but that’s as far he went . let’s see in two minds about ‘upgrading’ to a e92 m3 but I’m not a fan of them even though they are great cars also.

We had the negative disconnected to stop the parasitic drain. Zero maintenance otherwise. If it was the lead acid battery, it probably would have died in that time!

Driven both E92 and E46 extensively on this channel... E92 is a easier car go drive to doubt, feels more modern and capable, great V8 noises. However, E46 is harder to drive, requires more thinking and user input to go fast, which is a nice challenge in this modern world!

I should clarify "at time of release" which is 2013 this car topped out at 175mph. Yes the Porsche Panamera 4.0 V8 Ds hit the market in 2017 and has a top speed of 177mph. ALPINA D5s 2017 also hits 177mph All a bit theoretical, even on the Autobahn!

The road going 996.1 GT3 was NOT built at Porsche Motorsport in Weissach. It is a common mistake people make. I wrote Porsche an email to clearify and the told me only track cars are built at Weissach. All street legal GT3' are built in Zuffenhausen like the other models.

@@DWI_Community I own an '04 .2 GT3 Clubsport and just wanted know as much as I could about the model. I noticed mixed information regarding which plant built the 996.1's so decided to ask Porsche themselves 😅
