Two Drunk Brothers Garage
Two Drunk Brothers Garage
We're two brothers that enjoy drinking beer and turning wrenches who occasionally fix things so they work again, most of the time they don't ever work again! LOL We're not mechanics, we only pretend to be, so please don't take anything we do or say as other than comedy.
Warning! Warning! Warning!
PSA: Please don't ever drink or drive and if you're not 21yrs of age stick to water, tea, pop or any other non alcoholic beverage!
Thank you!

Right on the nail chap. I was thinking the same about the music to the chip 😂😂
@@DaGeneralLeigh thanks for the comment!

@dalemayhew8462 it’s coming along. Not sure if we’ll get er’ done before I have to leave.
Is that your excavator?
@dalemayhew8462 boy do I wish, just a rental and it went back today. 😢
secure it. the vent panel I mean. Fod forbid you kitty gets stuck in the vent system.
@KathrinHausermann yes I have been thinking on securing the vent down but neither one of my cats have done anything like that before but I put them in a stressful situation and she just didn’t want to be locked in a small space and I will never do that again. Thanks for the comment. Ken
Cats can teleport 😂😂
Yeah they can. Thanks for the comment. Ken
You need to put the scale over the vent.
@Blynat yeah she would have moved that, I put the cat litter box over it and left the room for about 5 minutes and she had that pulled about halfway off the vent 😂. Thanks for the comment. Ken
Anyone who says cats are stupid, have never had a cat, because this is definitely a normal thing for cat - lol, they can get into anything.
I agree cats are not stupid, I have never had one pull the floor vent and go in the vent I have seen them do a lot of other stuff though. Thanks for the comment. Ken
Hey I know a couple of transmission guys 😂
Do you - we could use their help! 🤣🤣
@@twodrunkbrothersgarage4911 😂🤣😂
@@dalemayhew8462 you might be over estimating our abilities! 😂😂😂
Looks like the IHC 2 1/2 ton 4 Spd that was in my old 67 1310 - a lot of WAY over engineered special ordered items on that old man. Actually looks more like the 5 spd OD we were going to put in.
@@johnjbarnes78 Yeah this is a 5 spd and we're thinking it's the T-35.
No Big Deal. Happens Every Day Around The Country...
Yes it does. Thanks for the comment.

Hey guys nice video.....ujoints are the most fun on any vehicle.....Ray seems a tad nervous when ken was impacting the yoke bolts...lol....take care guy's
I sure was, you should’ve seen me jump with the first cap “popped”! 🤣🤣🤣
Lol...i bet you did😂@@twodrunkbrothersgarage4911
How many gallons of coolant do you replace and how long does truck beed to run while refilling?
If I remember correctly it was right around 4 gals. The time it takes to run will differ, you want the vehicle to heat up in order for the thermostat to open to cycle the coolant through the system.
@@twodrunkbrothersgarage4911 do you have a brand recommendation for the radiator? I have a 2011 Chevy avalanche
Showed absolutely nothing
Thanks for the comment.
Looks a lot easier than chasing down a CEL. Nice work guys!
Yes it was! Thanks
Those ujoints are always tuff to work on great video guys....
You know they are and of course they gotta fight! Lol
If you want to simply change the pads and your rotors are in decent shape, remove the tire, remove the top slider with a 14 mil socket and allow it to pivot down exposing the piston. remove the old pads and change the clips if they are bad or if you like the shiny ones provided with the new pads. Put one of the old pads in front of the piston and push it back in with a C-clamp. Add the new pads, pivot the piston assembly back up and reinstall the upper slider, paying attention to the boot. Add the tire, rinse and repeat to the front, done and down the road in an hour and a half...
Thanks for the tip and the comment. We appreciate it.
Those disk brakes seem to have been a little easier than the rear drums lol, great work!
Very true statement! Lol
nice! we need to get you a gopro with a head strap so we can get in there and see….
Unfortunately he’d also find a way to use that camera for other (less than honorable) things….
Yeah we do need to upgrade to better cameras, thanks for the comment.
Haha - you’re a funny guy NDSTraveller! 🤣🤣🤣
Gotta love rust! It’s great at turning a 30min job into hours.
Absolutely! :-)
NICE CAR just a note the fender edges in engine bay should be silver not black but no big deal .I own a 70 Judge it's Pepper Green i live up by T/C in Michigan ,1970 is the best year I think.
@bigdaddy9864 - thanks for the comment. Engine bay was painted by previous owner - probably in 85' when the car was repainted as well. I agree 70' is the best year but I'd own any of them. :-) Congrats on the Judge, would love to have one. Ray
@@twodrunkbrothersgarage4911 found my car when i was delivering LP gas to a secluded home on lake Michigan garage door just happed to be open ,you could just see the nose the car had stuff pilled all over it .Turned out that the guy was original owner was bought out in Reno NV .back in May of 1970 it is a real 242 GTO Judge "Ram Air IV " 400 4speed car too. What a fined, took me 2 year to get him to sell it and when he did we had became good friends by then i know you won't believe this but i bought it for $5000 the car needed paint but no rust .that was 1998 i have restored it took 5 years .I have PHS as you know that show's it all.
Hey Ken and Ray, just found your channel today and subscribed! I watched your first video and saw that you are both veterans. Salute! I did 5 years Marines and 16 years Army. I look forward to watching your past and future videos. That white stuff looks cold! (I'm in Florida)
@owen33333 - thank you for your service. Ken did 8 years Army. I did 8 years Navy of which I spent 5 years in Florida. We appreciate you watching and commenting. Hope you enjoy our content.
Is only one stack hooked up 😂
It's only running on 4 cylinders! lol
Hey guys cool video....Ray you looked like a kid in a candy store going threw those parts....
Dale I could spend hours and days rooting around all parts collections. If I had room I'd have my own personal collection (code for junk yard! LOL).
Show hoe you removed the bottom Big Volt. It’s really tight & you can’t use a braker bar or a rancher because there’s not room.
Thanks!!!
You're welcome. Thanks for the comment.
Looks like the heater core is looped back into itself, so no heat.
One of the many things that need to be addressed! LOL
Amazing it even rolled over being that cold!
So was I, it barked off for a minute but that was it. I was glad to finally get to see it.
Having the PHS docs was a worth while investment in restoring my 1967 Firebird 400 coupe! New subscriber thanks to Wayne at CarQuest!
Thanks - I agree the PHS docs are a worth while investment. And huge thanks to you for the sub and Wayne for the shout out!
Sorry I fell asleep after about a minute and a half
Sorry but thanks for the comment.
Hey boss. Do you know the size of the 2 long bolts Mine didn't have them in And the whole system was held by the 2 electric fans bolts. Thanks 🇺🇲
Let me check and get back to you. Thanks
Let me check and get back to you. Thanks
@BradNichols-vo9eo try looking for Dorman Part #18975-07798118 - Upper radiator support baffle bolt for 2007-2013 Avalanche.
@@twodrunkbrothersgarage4911 Thanks buddy. No 1 believe s me. The 2 in the electric fan are shorter than the radiator to frame. ✌️
How did you get the Crown BlackBerry. Limited distribution in Michigan
We didn’t find any @lauramayhew2501 - wish we had some! Ken was commenting that we had tried looking for it. Lol
Red hots is the candy name. Little cinnamon hearts
Thanks - I thought they were Red Hots and someone pointed out that the bigger cinnamon candies are Hot Tamales.
Good old honey ray
Hell ya!
The facial expressions when tasting the ranch is priceless 😂😂😂
It was horrible! Lol
It's like seeing my future!
LOL - thanks for the comment @highrollerRob
Go GREEN! Hi Dakota!! Also, can’t wait until Friday!! Looks like it’s going to be a good video!
I figured you'd like that shirt!
How much was it buddy. Boy those OEM are 320 dollars at lake of the Ozarks in Missouri. Or can I get 1s for around 200 to ship to my house. Great job 2007 Avalanche 5.3 also. 💯🇺🇲
Got the radiator at Autozone up here, it wasn't the AC Delco (OEM) radiator, it was Autozone's house brand but with a lifetime warranty. I think it was about $300 plus about $40 for the lower rad hose. The AC Delco rad was about $100 more I think. Thanks for the comment.
