  This was an odd one! The manual is awful! I was a CPST years ago. I haven’t been up on my research. My brother got this seat for my niece and my jaw dropped looking at the manual. I frantically flew to KZread to find this channel or the car seat lady for an install. Thank you so much for helping!

  I have the same issue. So thankful for this video. I am going to return the seat. I have already had to reinstall it every 2-3 days. Not safe at all.

  It’s a function of the extra lock that’s under the seat not allowing the belt to retract. The seat cushion compresses, the seat shifts and finds a better spot, the belt loosens because the extra lock that the built in doesn’t allow the seat belt to retract any more. It’s pinching the belt. Without unbuckling the seatbelt, flip the door up, undo the extra latch, tighten the seatbelt back in to the retractor, and relock it. You do that twice, I believe it’ll hardly move again. There are few things in life that won’t shift and loosen straps after a little bouncing around.

  Man, I bought the 21 XLE 8 seater, when i had 1 baby on the way. Now with 2, what a configuration mess if you need 3 adults (mom, dad and grandma) and 1 rear facing and 1 booster with back. 3-in-1 strollers, need not apply!

  I hate this car seat we have it and i am about to go to the store and get another one. Where is the back lach. Those adjustments on the front don't reach shit hardest button to push. They should have left it for it was the last model was perfect and saved my son in car accident that's why i repurchased, thinking i was buying the same product this, You can't lach it but to only one latch it won't reach the other lach and they removed the back lach. Piece of trash. If it is not broken don't fix it.
