  I feel you, 3 of my basses were stolen out of my house; along with about half of what I owned. Watch out for dope heads. The cops as well as 2 P.I.'S told me 99% of the time it's someone you think is a friend.

  Are modes used in Gospel music?

  Yes. Many gospel songs have sections that don’t begin or end on the root chord. Being able to recognize modes can help you figure out the key when the root isn’t the start point. This would make a good lesson topic. Thanks for asking. I will add this lesson to the list of topics. Blessings!
