I try not to buy Purina as they use meat by - products. I recently found some very high end gourmet cat foods in a pet food store, but the cons were VERY HIGH PRICED . FRISKIES too is made w/ by - products, so Crusties is Out. I normally stick to Fancy Feast, although this brand too is costly. WHY did Fancy Feast go up to such an abominable price ???? It's unaffordable, but I get it anyway. I'm going to start making my own wet cat food at home instead. I also can get wet cat food through my insurance company. (they reimburse).... CATS RULE 😻😻😻😻😻😻. I don't much fancy the ingredients in Purina or Friskies. I WANT TO KNOW WHAT IS IN MY CATS FOOD. AND artificial colors and flavors must be banned, garbage pet foods w/ low nutritional ingredients should be banned as well.🙀🙀🙀

Very good video. Most vaccines last from 3 to 5 years. Some much longer. A "positive" titer means the dog is fully protected. Vaccines without adjuvants, such as Purevax, should be used. As you state, there are legal requirements. Most government agencies do not recognize a titer test. They do not care if your pet is harmed by over vaccinating. Cats are now given vaccines in a lower leg. If they get a Feline Injection Site Sarcoma (cancer) the leg is amputated and hopefully save the cat. Brilliant. Imagine telling that to a human patient. Happy Purrsday!

Good video. Care needs to be taken with flea collars. Most have chemicals that are not safe, short or long term for cats. Most newer flea collars use fipronil. Fipronil is an industrial pesticide. It has been found to migrate into all vital organs of dogs and cats, including the heart and brain. Many others use a variety of chemicals that belong to the isoxazoline family. According to the FDA, "Isoxazoline products have been associated with neurologic adverse reactions, including muscle tremors, ataxia, and seizures in some dogs and cats; Although most dogs and cats haven’t had neurologic adverse reactions, seizures may occur in animals without a prior history." Tuna also lacks a sufficient amount of taurine, an essential amino acid crucial for a cat’s survival. Tuna should only be a once in a while treat.

Racheal Ray’s Nutrish pet foods have a disturbing problem. Not all the ingredients are listed on the bag! Even some of the dog food was tested by an independent lab & found canine DNA in the samples tested. Would I want something similar for my cat? NEVER!

Informative video. Purina and Iams are good choices, plus they are low in calcium and phosphorus, which is important for cats. The small cans make the price for feeding multiple cats excessive. All life stages means there are high amounts of protein, calcium and phosphorus for growing kittens . That is too much for an adult cat, especially an older cat. I am not a fan of feeding dry food only to a cat. Too much grain and carbohydrates. Rachael Ray has corn and rice. It is high in calcium and phosphorus. Hill's is probably the best dry food. I would rotate or mix in some wet food and even some homemade. Royal Canin is too expensive for all of the grains it has. Fancy Feast is high in calcium and phosphorus. Not good for a senior cat.

I recently found your channel and subscribed. I like your q & a summary at the end of your videos. Fish should be no more than 5% of a cat's diet. Skipjack, the smallest species of tuna, has less mercury and other heavy metals than albacore or other sizes. Other good choices are sardines, mackerel, trout and salmon. All should be wild caught, packed in water with no salt added. My two cats recently had poached salmon for Sunday dinner. LOL Cats should be fed in a fairly flat dish to avoid whisker fatigue. My cats eat off of Corelle salad plates. They are a perfect size and shape, that can also hold broth or other liquid.

Very good video. Why would anyone give canned chicken to a cat? Fresh chicken is cheaper and healthier. Most canned chicken has way too much sodium for a cat. My two cats eat boiled chicken thighs with homemade bone broth as part of their diet. Cat food should be no more than 20% fat. That is why 80/20 ground beef is a good food for them. Cats don't need carbs at all. Fresh animal muscle meat is the best way to give a cat energy.
