If you connect an external 144 Hz monitor to the HDMI connector, does 144 Hz work? I bought it thinking that it supported 144 but it only supports 60 and also does not have a display port :(

Lenovo... Is so stupid. Gen 4 had a bigger and 2 pipes for the heat sink. But the RAM memory was not upgradeable. This time gen 5 has single pipe but RAM is upgradeable and it is dual channel.
Some have said that the keyboard os terrible compared to previous generations thinkpad

Hi, thanks for the message on this keyboard. It comes with only wireless with a USB receiver. Note : This keyboard doesn't have a Bluetooth connection.
Thank you so much for the reply. I do see the USB connection, but my wireless mouse is plugged into that and I don’t have another port. So I guess I need to return it. I thought that I could connect with Bluetooth and the battery.

I did this very upgrade to my Asus Q530 today. It went fairly seamless. I was unable to unhook the battery, sooooo.....I had to be very careful. I installed a 2TB Samsung NVME and the 32GB of RAM. I installed Ubuntu on the drive and all works except for the fingerprint reader.
