To those who don't know, they were supposed to make a sequel called "White Lipstick". The movie would have been centered in the music era of the British Invasion, the Hippie movement, and the Vietnam War. John Travolta said he would not return as Edna since he's "not a sequel guy", but possible would only if there was something good. I have to say, I definitely would have liked a sequel to this. It would've been interesting to see where Tracy & Link and Penny & Seaweed's relationships went. It would've been great to see them mention the Beatles. I'm sure they would've had British teenagers be on the Corny Collins Show who become very popular and Velma would say "See? This is what happens when you let someone else have the spotlight." I guess the stuff with hippies and the Vietnam War would've been similar to what we saw in the movie "Across the Universe" centering around songs by the Beatles. Other stuff about the plot were that Tracy would be struggling with being a celebrity in a society that expects women to be thin, Inez would be playing a big role in the Civil Rights movement, Edna's diet pills have become a full blown addiction, leading to a strain in her marriage, and Link will be struggling to get his career going. One strange scene that they had in mind was that unintentionally drops acid and hallucinates his zits are singing. The director admitted that he didn't think that was going to work. While the script was completed, they never wrote any songs. Even though no songs were written, I wish the script would be leaked because I would like to read it to see where things have went with these characters.

The theme for TSLOD is a fire song! In general I liked watching the whole show on Disney+ as well as my years of High School, but that was before I started loving JONAS.

lawsuit incoming
The entire Hairspray franchise was so ahead of its time. The gravity of the message gets me every time man!
who is in 2024? 👇
I loved the show, but the ending was terrible. I think Cody should have gotten into Yale and Zack should have joined the Peace Corps with Maya.

How 1:17 🤔 she make long jump
It took me so insanely long to notice the second L in Phill Lewis' name, like what the hell I feel so stupid now 😭
