  We love the Silver Lake dunes - SO much fun! Mac Woods is so fun for families and kids. Another great spot for families that's not too far is Lewis Adventures and a trip to the Country Dairy Farm (store) - they have food but the best ice cream, some farm animals and a small play area for kids!

  Hey Family. Sorry we are just getting back home. Catching up now. Being under the weather while vacationing or returning home sick can literally have the days seem like a blur. I had to visit the ER the day after we made it home. The Flu for the first time smh. Glad you guys were able to get out after resting. The views from the top, so awesome. We noticed how sometimes it can be overrated visiting the largest building in the city. The price, the wait time makes it less appealing at times. Were the kids excited for all the light shows. Being that we live in Hawaii our kiddos love city lights when we can visit large cities. I hope baby girl felt better once you guys made it home.

  Thanks for watching ! The cruise is kind of long- if you’re ok with being on there for 3ish hours (start to finish), then sure, sightseeing is great! The Dinner helps break down the cruise so it doesn’t feel as long. As far as how far it goes, unfortunately I don’t have that info . Its starts in Jackson square/french qtr area - I don’t imagine it went too far

  Good for solo travelers? I've been to Chicago once in 2017 as I ran the Chicago marathon. 3 day trip. How do you feel about staying at The Freehand to save a bit of money vs this? If you stay at Freehand would be the 1 room not the hostel part.

  This was a good hotel, not too far from river north and easy to get to some of the attractions near by. I haven’t stayed at freehand so unfortunately unable to compare

  Great job showing the Trump Chicago hotel to everyone. Looks beautiful. My girlfriend and I are considering staying there 2 nights sometime this summer and getting a lake view room also. You have a wonderful family! Congratulations!

  I stayed there, place was a shit hole. That black bun burger tasted like frozen poorly prepared burger king, fries were frozen, liquor overpriced. Wasn't impressed. View of lake reminds me of how much of a shithole we have made this part of the beautiful lake. I'll never vote for this shit ever in my life, you would have to cut my fingers off.

  If you grab a taxi from the port, yes. . it’s heavily guarded and police all around … we felt safer just hiring a taxi from here and reserve him for the entire day . Also , make sure it’s a licensed taxi and not any unmark car

President Trump spared no expense...

  Hey TKL Family you guys are our fave tour guides. Always smiles and upbeat energy. That school bus hanging over is frightening and cool lol. We will be roadtripping again and can't wait to check the one out now the boys both are older. Lol I don't need help I need space 🤣. So cool that you came on a fun day and got to feel the slight sway of the Arch when at the very top. The Gateway Arch was designed to move as much as 18 inches in 150 mile per hour winds and it can withstand an earthquake. It takes a 50-mile an hour wind to move the top 1 1/2 inches each side of center. Hope you can come back again next time you're in the Midwest!
