From its start in 1995, the Passion movement has had a singular mission-calling students from campuses across the nation and around the world to live for what matters most. For us, what matters most is the name and renown of Jesus. We believe in this generation and are watching God use them to change the climate of faith around the globe.
Since the first gathering in 1997, Passion has had the privilege of encountering millions of students and 18-25 year olds, a sea of young people whose lives have been transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit. Their voice is getting louder as they rise, united as a generation, bringing hope and light to the world.

I would fundamental say because He has revealed himself (Romans 1/2) IN US and TO US as Paul points out BEFORE he reaffirmed it and expounded on Himself through the written word -We have an awareness of His DeVine nature - (as Paul says in Romans 1) because we are made in his image and we know fundamental right from wrong, we feel guilt etc, we think through our motives and those of others because we also know love to some extent - because we are aware of His objective standard that we measure right/wrong, love and hate by and we experience true guilt when we violate HIs nature as image bearers of Him. (even though we may not admit it and rebel against the knowledge of Him that He wrote IN US. So when we read the scriptures (and they read us..) it's familiar territory because God is the source of what He has already spoken IN us.

We have gotten use to see things from our own perspective, unless something is visualized. Yesterday, mothers day Sunday, 05/12/24, our pastor spoke on mothers being valuable. Which included and was around 2 King 4:2-7, where we read Elisha said, borrow as many empty jars as you can from your neighbors. Then go into your house with your sons and shut the door behind you. Pour olive oil from your flask into the jars, setting each on aside when it is filled." I was seating in church thinking why did they not understand the jar was not becoming empty? I came to the realization, the jars of old was not the same as jars of new. Meaning we understand jars are glass or clear, to see where we are at with the contains within it, to understand it needs refilling. So I shared this, a tissue box with tissue inside it, we understand it has limited contains until soon it will be empty. But what if its contains was unlimited, we don't see the level of contains, but we understand it has limitations, eventually it will become empty. But in Gods hands it could be like an unlimited supply. We keep pulling tissue from the box but it just keeps coming, but us humans understand its has visible limitations, but it need to have limitations because it need to make since to us, but God is unlimited. So we are the tissue boxes, we always have unlimited because God pours from within us.
