Why don’t you like foam? Just curious was planning on using it for my wedding!! For the first time! Thank you!! ❤😊
So beautiful!! How many bunches of ranunculus did you use for one centerpiece?
How was it working with your husband on building this cooler?? Was it some frustration/conflict? How did you resolve it? I would like to know when you started this business was your husband fully supportive? A video on this would be great.
My husband has been incredibly supportive since the start. I’m truly so grateful for him! The cooler did test us at times, but we handled it by tackling it together, taking breaks (sometimes days) from working on it, and celebrating at the end of each building day with yummy food and a hot deep clean shower. Building is not for the faint-hearted. 😅
Thanks a lot. Very encouraging 😍 greetings from Munich 🙋♀️
Here to share the wealth of floral knowledge!! 🥰
I will like to be come a florist Where do I start.
Let’s schedule a mentorship call!
A lovely design with gorgeous selection of flowers❤😊
Ahhh!! Thank youuuu! 🙏💌✨
Hi! absolutely inspired by your videos!! I would love to know if you can chat on how you handle delivery of the arrangements for the day and how you include/calculate those charges in the overall cost!
That means more than you know!! By handling delivery of arrangements I’m assuming you’re referring to having several on one day, and if so I would recommend offering a 3-4 hour window for deliveries. This way to can load the florals based on area and time that you’ll deliver. To calculate delivery costs, I love to have a flat fee. I figured mine by averaging the amount of time + miles. For me in California it’s $0.67 per mile currently + my time. Google the “mileage expense rate in [state]” if you’re not in CA.
Wow, being a florist is a lot of work
It sure is!
Hi! Love your channel ❤can you share the links for your floral vases?
I wish I had links for vases. I buy wholesale in person or I call in an order to my local wholesalers, but you can try their websites. Fss.com, sdfs.com
See.. now, THAT'S WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT. LOL 🎉🎉😅 The thing is I've been looking for different ways of INSTALLING BABIES BREATH. THANKS for Sharing ❤❤🎉
Yes, the amazing thing about being designers is that we can create something from anything! 💕
Enjoying what you Share. ( I'm staying up late and I need to rest.. found your Channel LATE) I will be designing Florals for my NIECE'S wedding in 2025. I Love Floral arranging and I have been designing Sporadically for about 20 years. ( I know) 😅 I look for People who can Inspire me to keep designing. Thank you for your Videos. keep on TEACHING and Sharing. ❤ PS: I appreciate the the use of Chicken Wire VS. Foam it's not only better its more SUSTAINABLE and designers like you encouraged me to use it more. I also feel that it's BETTER FOR MORE DELICATE FLOWERS. 🎉 LOVE IT!
Thank you for your message, Mary. Lots of more videos coming this year as soon as I wrap the building of the cooler.
When you first got started, how did you find the right floral shop to create your own floral design for your own wedding and early events? And how much can I look forward to spending? when starting up and first purchasing my fowers for my
I didn’t find a floral shop, I designed everything intuitively myself after researching and counting an approximated number of stems based on inspiration photos. I’m assuming you’re asking how much you’ll be spending on tools to be ready to freelance… I would say $10-$35 for a good pair of snips and after that you can build as you go and grow as a freelancer florist.
Hello, how many stems did you used?
Hello! Sorry this was quite a long time ago now and I no longer remember.
Thank you for sharing Angelica! I'm having a hard time finding wholesale rose vendors. Any direction would be greatly appreciated!
I wish you provided your city/state. I’m the most familiar with California suppliers, but I know Mayesh is also located in other states and Ramirez Wholesale Flowers ships nationwide. You can also try searching “[state/city] rose farm” to find local growers you can pick up from or have them deliver.
Can somebody link part 2?
Hi! It’s the next video ☺️
@@angelicamedinaclay It does not play next in my feed nor come automatically, can you please give the title.

Following up with my comment : I live in LA. I am looking to try to start my flower shop online. I have my ig with some work and want to create a website so people can see prices and order . I am scared business wouldn’t go but to try i really need a website … Which exactly licenses or permits do i need to do be able to create my website and start selling? where do i need to register my brand name? Is there a company who does that? And i am very confused when i will have a website and person will be paying through that , where would money go to? How do i attach an account to it? Is it possible to sell from the website and not get sales licenses or permits ? The reason why i’m asking is what if i will have 0 sales and i will and up having all that but business would not work? Sorry for bothering but i’m very confused where to start from 🥲🥲🙏🏻💗
Hello! Thank you so much for your information it was very helpful!! I have a couple of questions is it ok to text you ?
You’re welcome to drop your questions here.
hiii am Alyaa really Patient about being a florist just confused how to price my bouget especially that each one is different style i would like to hear from you how to start any tips and advices will be so much helpful. and where to purchase flowers that are not available in my town? thanks in advance and good luck.🌸
Beautiful! What's the name of flowers for this arrangements?
It’s been a while, but I’m pretty sure I included baby’s breath, tubberrose, mums, quicksand roses, playa blanca roses, majolicas, and carnations
Lovely, just wish there was a speed up button so I don't have to fast forward so much.
Settings on video > playback speed > 2x > maybe that makes a difference.
Loved this video! Very straight to the point. Where would you suggest looking for flowers for someone just starting out?
If you don’t have a registered business yet, I would recommend to search “wholesale flowers in ____” fill in the blank with your city. Contact them and ask if they sell to the public. If they do, start there. If it’s your first few attempts at designing and you’re not interested in buying in bulk, farmers markets and groceries stores that sell flowers in small bunches could be a start just to get practice. If you’re in San Diego the Floral Trade Center in Carlsbad has a couple vendors that sell to the public.
Hi Angelica, your work is beautiful! And I appreciate your content. I am a new at-home wedding/event florist with a question. Do you provide your client(s)with vases for you hand-tied bridal and bride's maids boquets at delivery? What do you recommend?
Hi Charlene! Yes, I do. I like everything to travel in water so personals last the longest possible.
Thank you. That helps me so much with my pricing. I'll keep learning a d watching for your latest videos. :)
Beautiful work ❤!
Wow! This is beautiful. New Subscriber :) Question..can you do a video on how to price arrangements etc.? Thanks!
Hi! Thanks for subbing! Yes, that’s on my list and will do soon. ❣️
Your start is similar to mind.
I love a good “how did you get started” story
I love this arrangement, beautiful. How much would you price this arrangement for? I also do floral arrangements. Beautiful
Thank you so much! This was 150
Beautiful work but please put at least some music in the background. This silence is giving me a headache😅
Hahaha. 🤭 Noted!
Gorgeous!!!!!💕💕💕
Thank you so much!! 💞
Thank you so much for this. I am definitely interested in this !!!
You’re welcome. It’s the best way to gain experience.
A lovely setup. The centerpieces are stunning ❤.
This venue is beautiful and perfect for intimate weddings. Thank you!
i luv your designs, Can you list the flowers that you used in this design. Thanks Rhonda
Hello ☺️ Thank you! Yes. Dill, yarrow, scabiosa, petunia.
@@angelicamedinaclay Thank you soo much for getting back to me.
Do you ever go to Mayesh in the same area? Is one less expensive or less restrictive? I do not have my business permit or resellers yet so I am currently buying at retail.
Yes, I do. I love shopping at Mayesh and Lily’s Enterprises too, but I shopped a ton there last year and this year I wanted to connect with other wholesalers, although I still stop there from time to time. I believe you have to have a business license/permit with most wholesalers including Mayesh and Lily’s. Cost wise, they’re all about the same, but some wholesalers sell certain blooms that others don’t. Mostly due to seasonality, imports and sourcing etc I think, so I literally shop with whoever has the freshest of what I need.
Love the arrangement. Love your color and plant choices
Hey! Thank you so much! This floral design has been a favorite for sure ☺️
All of your videos are soooo relaxing to watch! And I particularly enjoyed this longer video! I wish they were all this long
I love that it comes off that way - sometimes business things move quickly, but I intend for the energy to remain peaceful. I feel like longer form videos are something that I can definitely do since it comes natural to me and it’s also what I prefer when I watch YT myself ☺️
your a inspiration could you do one on pricing thank you so much x
I love that you’re drawing inspiration 💞 and thank you for the video request. I’ll be filming a floral pricing video real soon. 💵
thank you so much your amazing x
Nice video. How much do you charge for the rental of vases etc please.😁
Great question! I incorporate a vase rental fee into the cost of each centerpiece. It’s usually a 1/3 of my wholesale cost.
hi Angelica do you pick up the urns after the event x
Hello hello! ☺️ Yes, all my vases are rentals so clients, guests, and vendors can keep the flowers but we pick up our vases when we come back for teardown.
thank you your awesome x
Yay!! New video!! Thanks for sharing the NAME of the venue! Can you share more info on classes with you!
Love the excitement!! 🥰 I tailor 1:1 workshops to your needs. Please email me at: [email protected] if you’d like to connect and review what you’re interested in learning.
Can’t wait to see this installation video!! Wow such beautiful colors!!!
Coming soon!
Do you need a license to buy flowers??
You don’t need a license to buy flowers as some vendors do sell to the public but you do need one to receive wholesale pricing and for tax purposes
How long does a bouquet last in the cooler!??
I usually create bouquets the day before the wedding so those are the freshest possible, but as far as lasting - I would say several days, but it’s not something we practice.
You always look so put together Tips!!!! 😍🥰
Thank you! I have somewhat of a capsule wardrobe which makes it easy to get dressed and as for makeup and hair I think keep it simple and minimal. Maybe I’ll incorporate more lifestyle videos in the future ☺️
Please more videos like these!! So much to learn!!!
More sit down videos, I got those coming…
😍
where did u get the centrepiece vases from at the start please? they r beautiful ❤

What’s the greenery you started with in the oasis foam? Camellia?
Hi! Yes. I first went in with camellia, then Italian pittosporum, and last Italian ruscus. Then flowers. ☺️
@@angelicamedinaclay does camellia hold up well for an everyday order or is it more used for events?
I havent used it for orders but I imagine it probably holds up better than most greens due to it’s nature. It’s a hearty foliage to use for sure.
It is absolutely beautiful! would you show the WHOLE arrangement looks like at the ending?
