In Toronto canada I buy a super super clone I bring it to a rolex expert he say it was real rolex . Unbelievable. Your super clone look just like mine. You a expert but a regular person like me will never know. Imagine on amzwatch
Great video! I prefer rubber and sailcloth straps as well.
wow! I can't even think of how long did it take you to make this 22 minutes video but it is the job well done!
Need them to bring the 36mm submariner back and I’ll buy it.
Is that your Coke GMT? I’ve been contemplating a vintage Rolex for a while. You should do a dedicated video on what to expect when owning one and what to look out for when shopping around!
Great Video - may i ask what reference that Grand Seiko is???
SBGA415! The winter addition. Thanks though!
I loved the "I am a normal person, I don't have a Patek" 😂 I am a normal person too Harrison, that's the reason because I follow you and some other normal people, because I am a watch lover but note a dreamer. btw I started by a Quartz Citizen 200Eur, then a Seiko 5 450Eur and so on.... ☺. It is a hobby for me, not a problem 😂. I want to keep it that way.
That’s great! The more I’ve done this the more I see how price doesn’t matter. The stories of the watches as they mark time in your life does. Enjoy!
For some reason I don’t like rubber or leather with Rolex Submariners. The speedy however, works with everything and anything
True! That’s why I tried to use it on everything
So good that you have a shout out to Artisan straps He is a great guy and makes quality straps out of Sydney Artem is sweet to Couple of Aussie strap makers
Those two might be my favorites of the bunch. Great stuff coming out from there
@@HarrisonElmore being in Australia - they are my 2 go to’s Crown and buckle natos And Delugs Are the other 2 I tend to use. Being able to talk to Jayson directly at artisan to custom a strap is perfect
Wonderfully informative video, thank you for your work and dedication.
My pleasure!
I'm glad that I'm not the only one with so many straps that makes me feel better 😅 I'd recommend CWC nato's for anybody in the UK as well looking for good quality. Super durable but so soft and supple. Great coverage over everything.
Thanks for the tip! I’ll see if I can’t get one also!
@HarrisonElmore I do believe they ship worldwide, I've tried the black and grey and they flow super well
👋🏾 Harrison! Stumbled on your channel while researching a watch I’d like to buy. I’m not a collector as you are but was in the market to buy my first “big girl” watch! It’s a tad overwhelming. Would you mind sharing any insight on the Omega Constellation? Not as popular in the US I’ve noticed. Found a 2023 automatic model on Jomashop for like 3k. Not sure if I should pull the trigger. Any thoughts from you would be helpful and my apologies for the bother.
been thinking of letting go of my P39 but putting it on one of my fav 20 y/o natos has breathed new interest in it.
It makes a difference!
Good review, thoughtful and insightful.
Thank you kindly!
Amazing coverage of so many straps! And unique ones as well. Thank you 🎉
Thanks for watching!
Grand Seiko dont get no love😢
Terrific overview, Harrison. Very helpful and I couldn’t agree more on the impact a new strap has on a watch.
Agreed! Glad you liked it!
ABSOLUTELY!!!!! Brilliant video. Cheers
Thank you!
Love mamacoo the way you show it! You really focus on showing off the watch. I don't think any other KZreadr can show off watches in as much detail as you.
you’re literally my comfort person i love you #mamacoo !
Kudos to you for breaking down the different types of weaves of nylon. I didnt know that the type of nato I like is the "tubular" and not the "seatbelt", which is too shiny for me, so thanks for making shopping around a bit easier
Video is cool and informative but I just can’t stand the Typing sound effect every few seconds. Sorry.
It’s so true what you said at the beginning about changing the strap before you get rid of a watch. I bought a Baltic MR01 and long story short it really disappointed me from a build perspective, and the tan strap it came on was nice but I didn’t like the aesthetic. It sat for a few weeks but finally I switched the strap to a Fluco taupe epsom and I absolutely love that watch on that strap. It’s a keeper now, even if I don’t think it feels like a $600 watch 😅
I get that! Strap can do a lot though! Sometimes it’s about the look and feel rather than build quality. Enjoy while it’s there!
Delugs has been my favourite strap company. Great quality and price
I’ll have to reach out to them
That Barton looks nice. I always see them on eBay but never commit to buying. Might give them a shot. Nice video!
Thanks!
Your upload schedule is insane, keep up the great work
Hahaha tell me about it!
Holy hell how many straps do you have 😂
Too many. Way too many
@@HarrisonElmore I’m waiting on my uncle Seiko bracelet for my Tudor bb58 to arrive. Excited to experience one of my fave watches without the faux rivets
Is the coke new in the collection?
Possibly! I’ll keep updates coming. I’ve got too many here right now
Changing your watch strap is the fastest way to change everything about your watch.
Agreed!
I'm not a fan of very light watches. I prefer to feel it on my wrist.... as a result I bought the Rikka, which also has better finishing thanks to not being titanium. Each to their own though.
Totally fair!
I have a few leather, rubber straps, and original bracelets. I tried different pairings. But I wear my Speedy on an OEM bracelet, Marathon GSAR on an orange OEM rubber, and Seiko SARB035 on a brown shell cordovan from Nomos. To me, it just feels right that way :)
Sweden mentioned!!!!
It’s a great strap too!
Helpful content. I’ve tried a few different strap brands and have been largely disappointed. Might try a few of these.
Hopefully it helps!
Bulang and Sons are my favourite by far. Pricey but worth it
I bought a green olive suede strap from them. Love the leather, but the buckle is dissapointing at the price.
@@petrokersta5293 that's true actually
I have both white and black 3861. Couldn’t resist the white.👏🇦🇺
those 2 explorers are underrated which is another reason why i want them!
The no date is the best !! Cheers
What is that strap? I don't like the alligator strap it comes with, and I'm struggling to find aftermarket alternatives.
Why? because its dope!
The submariner was honestly a watch I couldn’t care less about starting my watch journey but as times progressed I’ve started to really like it and desire one
It does grow on you!
can you try this with any seiko 5 or hamilton khaki field watches:)
It’s a beautiful watch.
Rolex Submariner 124060
Where did you buy that Rolex book?
Amazon! The place for everything haha
Harrison, can you please share a link to your water pressure testing device?
Class 👍🇬🇧
How ridiculous and irrelevant those comparisons between real-fake Rolex watches is. Rolex advertises and sponsors millions of dollars in world sporting events which is reflected in their retail prices, the actual production cost of a Rolex is pretty much the same between fake and real. Rolex is offering a prestige time piece for the wealthier sections of our society while effectively excluding a huge part of the population from ever acquiring one of their watches. So if its OK for Rolex to engage in that kind of marketing it equally makes it OK for the copy industry to allow those who do not have the ready funds to support Rolex sponsorship deals world wide to wear one of their watches. I see it as a personal choice, some people don't care about Rolex, others would love one but the prices make this impossible, copies level the field somewhat. For the comparison Nutter to claim that the "real" Rolex is worth $45000 has rocks in his/her head. Personally I prefer the smart watch I use it is far more accurate than any Rolex plus offers a whole field of information no Rolex ever can or will.
Very nice video. Thanks for all the great advices. I collect Steeldive and Berny watches many years ago and this watches are still looking good and working great. You should try them and let me know what you think.
