Hello, My name is Timothy Hawkins, formerly of Arrowhead Lofts EAST. In Honor of my late best friend, Asbury "Bubby" Hopewell, I changed my loft name to Shock Trauma Lofts. In the game of Racing Pigeons, there are MANY ways "to skin a cat". My methods might be a little different than most common thinking in this sport, but it works for me. Follow me as i re-enter the sport after moving from the east coast to the west coast. Please like and subscribe to my channel and follow me as I plane on dominating the east coast!!

Hello... Mr.Timothy... I im a pigeon guy from Charlotte NC... Use to have over 30 pigeons in the 80s... But the pigeon game have changed a lot... To make a long story short... What can I use for green stool pigeon diarrhea?
@@GarryLuke hey bro sorry I just saw this. Sound like they might have coccidiosis. I would give them Kastle Coxistat. I try to stay away from antibiotics. Also try apple cider vinegar
@@Shocktraumalofts ... Thank You Very Much Brotha 👍
Good stuff Brotha Tim. Thank you ! 😎 We fly or die 👍
@@williambrown7372 thanks for the support bro!
Tim, when 1st starting to work with youngsters that have just been weened I work with one at a time on and to the landing board until they can do it blindfolded gradually moving further from the loft, once they are working well as individuals I then start working them 2 at a time then 3 at a time etc, this keeps your losses to a minimum if you have a hawk attack.
My man ! That’s what I’m talking about!!!
@@Rev792 thanks bro!

Nice looking loft, Bro. I wish you well on the hawk problem. Not much you can do about it.
Thanks bro and thanks for the comment. Had one chase the birds today, me yelling through him off.
cool idea!!

Good pigans 😅

C-Tim in the house! Got my feed today and should get about 25-30 birds today. I’m excited!

It's me Tim Ronnie Stokes
Hey Ronnie!!
Loving the videos Tim!
Thanks bro. Love yours as well. I’m off today, going to watch the Chad Ward interview as soon as I get back home from dropping my son off at work!!
They will know the area well. Putting in the work with em 😁
Yes bro that’s my plan. I have a tree right in front of the landing board so they have to come from the side. I want them to know how to get to the landing board from any direction. Another reason for all the short tosses.
@@Shocktraumalofts Yessir, I feel ya. I had trees on 3 sides and my house on the 4th side so the birds couldn't see my house at all so those short tosses were invaluable. I moved last winter and have no trees close now. It's a total different experience with young birds this year. They shoot to the loft for protection now, whereas at the old place they'd stay in the trees.

To me thous birds should not be tosst they are not wright
Thanks for the comment bro. Yeah horrible
Nice man!! Good luck this year bro!!
Thanks bro you as well
That's usually Mom, dad and chic when you see them like that. They are teaching how to hunt.
That just might be it befits always more than 2-3 hawks chasing birds
New sub here. Getting caught up on all your vids.
Thanks for the support!!
In the uk the fanciers get a type of paint that obviously doesn’t harm the bird or the feathers and paint it in patches all over the pigeons.
I saw that. I know a couple falconers who think that is like putting a bulls eye on them that’s why I haven’t done it. Thanks though I love hearing about fanciers and what they do with their birds
Great vid! Got my loft built now looking for some nice birds. Just starting out and learning a lot!
Thanks for the comment. You should try and find a club near you. There is nothing like having a good mentor in this sport. Can help with birds, health training etc
Do you race ?
Yes I do. I haven’t in 3 years because of the move form Baltimore to Portland. I will be racing this year young birds.
@@Shocktraumalofts cuz of your hawk problem I think you should breed at least 60 youngsters
Incredible that you lost that many birds to a hawk I get attacked at my loft every now and then also and yes, the Cooper’s Hawk is the worst😮
Yeah they have been on me bro
The Cooper's are bad in many places. Losses tend to be high until you can get them 100% on the road and cut out the ambush attacks at the loft.
Yes sir, that’s what I see I’m going to have to do here at this house.
@@Shocktraumalofts I lost about 50 last year from Cooper caused flyaways during settling. Only a few more after the squeakers knew the loft and then no verified hawk losses after they went on the road. Once you hit the road, no more loft flying, but that means being pretty strict with feed to keep them buoyant.
Great Dave Chappell impression at the end
Lmao thanks
Looking good.. You should have used the protection of the "Danza Loft" batting/settling cage system. You might not have lost so many before you started loft flying them..
I did!! Didn’t see 1 hawk while in the batting cage. The day I took it down I lost 4 to hawks. I saw all 4 of them get caught by a hawk, believe they were coopers
@@Shocktraumalofts ... Wow! That's crazy for sure.
Been there man, with the hawks. Had 10 attacks in my small back yard one day. I moved and now don't have nearly the same issues. You'll have a hawk saavy group.
Very true bro. Might have to relocate some of those hawks!
Wow that is so awesome. So the other pigeons got taken by a hawk? Oouuee I'm learning alot
Yeah they are terrible
Art would love that bird
Yes he would!!
Great video. Sorry the hawks are so bad for your birds. I love the intelligence of the 6. Especially that white 😊
Thanks Jeff. As they say it only takes 1!!
Great Idea Brother, what club are you part of? Wondering because im also out of PNW
Hey bro!!! Thanks for the comment. In the PNW racing pigeon club. Wya?
