What an absolutely fantastic idea….Not only for safety but also for practicality…well done ✅
❤
Really need a roundabout/ traffic light from Byford Plaistowe Blvd to Thomas Road as soon as possible. That junction is difficult to do a right turn into Thomas Road on a busy day.
Cooool. When i first saw it out thought "do they realise that like is bent??"
It's going to be a beautiful bridge.
you can come into WA through the great central road to ?
I used to live in derby and seen the mighty Fitzroy River floods 1993 and the abc had run communications at old derby mw broadcast tower site and my dad Dave Roberts was a technical officer and fixed the telephone exchange site in Fitzroy crossing
This is BULLSH*T !! Roundabouts and horse crossings? FFS I don’t think the North link has any of that so why should the South??? kzread.info/dash/bejne/iZiWms-SfcSaabw.htmlsi=2KrGK61su_to7rgV
Just Brilliant, it looks great.
This is terrific!!!
Too moorditj
I like how on the roundabout intersections, they leave a gap in the middle so it can be upgraded to grade separated in the future.
Really good at your jobs!! In roading. Well done
If I'm coming out of Paris Road & want to go onto BORR Road, or coming along BORR Road & want to go onto Paris Road can this be done, looking at this video I can't work it out, or do I have to Raymond Road to get onto & off BORR Road ?
This seems like a unnecessary "development" of a huge massive concrete jungle, Labor is wasting our tax. Peter Dutton 2024.🇦🇺
Fantastic LOVE it. This wa government is so good at roads and bridges. Well done to all.
30 years as a project various people wanted done, mostly paid for by Commonwealth Govt
Took 30 years, so how much did this really cost
History
This bridge is now going to cost Australians over $400 million. For a tiny bridge. They snuck it in in the latest budget. No explanation. The Stirling bridge cost around $8 mill to make in the 70s. Corrected for todays inflation, thats less than $90 mill. Why is this one going to cost over $400 mill, you ask? Well, if you havent noticed yet, the government is full of corrupt used car salesmen. Both the left and right. Big business selects them with donor money, you vote for them. As such, theyre using these huge, hyper inflated public works projects to siphon tax payer dollars directly into their bosses wallets in development and construction. You deserve a new political movement, Australia. One that throws this trash out.
In love
Looking forward to its completion 😎🚴♂️🏃♂️🚶
Boo. How about judging people by their character and not their skin color. DEI is Marxist dribble.
Halal experience has passengers the most important part in my career as well so excited
Better self experience
Spending all that money, they should have made it six lanes.
Sử dụng phần mềm gì để mô phỏng vậy ạ
Theres roadwork happening now but the road is still so dead after Jurien Bay
Stop concrete, we need more trees in Perth!
Beautiful ❤
Well I guess if they built it as 3 to 4 lanes each way to start with and as a proper Freeway ,then they wouldn’t have the fun of closing lanes for 4 years 10 years later to rebuild it to how it should have been in the first place. The State Government is running a surplus so it’s not like they can’t afford it now.
Nice❤
I was approached to be involved in the cycle infrastructure planning leading up to this project. My gut feeling was that I would sit through hours and hours of meetings, wasting my own time all in the hope that it wouldn't get vetoed by some one down the track. So I declined the request. Lo and behold, after the state govt initially promising some proper PSP routes in the regions, finally, so it seemed, just like they have everywhere in the metro area, then, they were quietly deleted. I knew this would happen.
Nice update, looking great. Such a shame that we have that jankey looking roundabout at Discovery Road. I’m amazed that the State Government couldn’t scrape together the funds to make this right with a proper grade separated interchange.
The hipster music is a bit much. Maybe an informative voice over instead explaining on what we're looking at instead?
❤❤❤❤❤
I must express this: the State Government needs to recognize the majesty and beauty of the Kimberley and ensure it remains free from fracking.
Since the Causeway is going to be Heritage Listed, will you allow morons to deface & graffiti under the bridge like you have the Canning Bridge? Go for a walk underneath and take a bloody look ffs, its disgusting what you have allowed to happen to a heritage listed site.
Rita Saffioti is not improving our city, she is putting concrete everywhere she builds, Concrete consumes loads of carbon emmisions, make Perth a livable place for the young generation, Telling you this is not acceptable Rita the Concreter.
How about reducing Carbon Emissions what are you doing about it Rita Saffioti?! Your making it worse for the young generation, Perth is going to be unlivable.😒
Ummm. There's all those railways. And not that it's Ritta's thing. But there's a truck loads of solar panels being plastered all over roofs with state government dollars. If you want to criticise Two Meter Ritta, pick something that makes sense...
@@antiussentiment Haven't you seen all the Concrete walls she's putting up near our Highways she's wasting our Tax dollars during a housing crisis plus burning loads of carbon emmisions for all that concrete.
You are literally commenting on a video about a new bike and ped bridge designed to reduce carbon emissions wtf
Bro how about all the emmisions getting put into making metal and concrete for the bridge! Bikes are great for net zero.
How about solving the old school traffic lights near Public and Private Schools (Applecross Highschool).
main roads have no control over local roads
How about the safety of citizens crossing these lights each day almost getting hit, now someone saying oh *mains roads have no control over local roads* Perth is a Clown Show. Another thing Perth only has 20% tree canopy around the city and its getting worse cause lf Rita.
@@Banana-nd1qs Clown show? I told you a fact, main roads has nothing to do with local roads, if you want a local roads issue to be fixed you need to contact the city of Melville. But it seems like you're not actually here to get it fixed, you're here to whinge and do some political campaigning.
@@Banana-nd1qsyou should be idk complain to the council not main roads **Main roads do State roads IE the blue signs boards**
Perth is such a Clown show, MAIN ROADS CAN FIX TRAFFIC LIGHTS!
doesn't cars also use the bus lane?
❤❤❤❤❤
Great job my dear. My wishes, Congratulations 🎉.
Good job 👍👏🤙🏼
❤❤❤❤❤
Hello Hello this has way too much concrete, I've been through here and there is zero trees what so ever, Your achievements Rita is making Perth hotter!😭😭😭🔥🔥🔥
This is unexceptable Number one, Rita put some signs up! Number two, Where's the trees you planted, exactly none! Number 3, The Bunbury outer ring road has too much concrete and not enough trees! Number 4, I hope you read this message and understood that Perth is just getting hotter In the future Perth is going to be unliveable, Noting Rita if you read this you don't have to comment I just want you to do what your supposed to do as a Politician!
A great project well done by all. Now it’s time to make the Nullaboor crossings flood resistant for the states freight.
Perth! What a city ❤😊
