2:48 do you. think the original "Evolution Door" can use the same Hinge or it needs to be something different due to the design?

Great video. I am about to attempt to refurb a La Pavoni Professional in very similar condition. Did you do anything to clean up the chrome (that you didn't paint) besides soak in citric acid. Is there anything else that can be done to clean, perserve, or protect the chrome? I'd appreciate anyone's ideas. Also, does anyone know were to get a full gasket kit that includes grease?

Great colors! You should have built a door that could close entirely. Ulike panels, it's always 1/2 open :( . Double that door size and this thing is sic.

Hello!!! How long should it be submerged in citric acid?
@flexdahill Жыл бұрын
Hi, until it is clean :) depends, may take a few hours or a day. It helps as well to heat the acid a bit, just not boiling.

Best video I've ever seen re La Pavoni. I get a lot of steam leakage from the "oval" group head (held on to the boiler by 2x 14mm nolts). I had assumed there was a gasket in there as I am unable to tighten the 2x 14mm bolts any more yet still get vast amounts of steam and spluttering water from this joint. Any suggestions? Do I just put a liberal coating of silicone food-grade grease on the two faces here for example? Also I need to replace the gasket the boiler sits on - can I just unscrew the boiler or do I HAVE to tinkle with the electrics and remove the heating coil the way you did?
@flexdahill Жыл бұрын
Thanks :) With a new gasket it should be sealed, but yes the original one is quite thin, so maybe you can get a thicker one somewhere. (Food- and heat-compatible) And just make a foto of alle the cabels before you take it appart so you can reassamble everything, cause I think that makes the job easier as well as the cleaning.

Your girlfriend bought you cancer. Sheesha delivers way more nicotine than cigarettes btw, even though it's "cleaner and filtered". When we had a relative hooked on sheesha visiting, they couldn't wait to leave before getting back to it. I'd keep it as a decorative piece, but wouldn't actually use it. Edit: FREAKIN INCREDIBLE DOOR, OF COURSE. Best one I've seen with this idea.
