  This composure puts me in the film. I have seen and heard newer versions but they're ass. They sound and feel so mechanical. This version is by far the best.

  what I love about the classical music (which has more portion in a vast of the movies than anyone could think) is that perhaps there are people in the audience, thinking ... I have no idea what movie this is from but I must see it from the first to the last credits right now, FFS

  It's very beautiful. But it must be clear that it is essentially a "cover" of Khachaturian's Adagio from the ballet "Gayane" which had been used in "2001: A Space Odyssey" to illustrate the Discovery's flight through space. What Horner knew, of course. So I don't think it's plagiarism but a deliberate homage.

  One of the best scifi movies of all time. Sigorney Weaver, is the first and greatest women hero of all time. Every other women hero after her are using to much technology and less acting. For me, I listen to the score of this movie and I can see Ripley doing her thing , the way only she can do it . Ripley (SW) kicked it . . Sigorney Weaver was the perfect actor for the role . Her talent is way out there, The sound track is way out there . A perfect match.

  This is the essence of orchestra, the way these sounds sound and tell a story you cannot imagine is what does it... The live version is even better than the version for the movie. Insanely good music was written for Alien, Aliens, Alien 3, and Resurrection. In today's world, insanely good music is written every day.
