I like to mix up drinks and want to share tips and tricks on how to make your own. My main aim is to give people a better knowledge of cocktails, whether they want to mix drinks up at home for their family and friends, or to simply give you inspiration to try a new drink next time you're out.
Aside from weekly how to tutorials, I want to branch out in the future to show bar builds, techniques and which equipment to buy, whilst providing you with the history and knowledge of how these cocktails were created.
Finally another subject I'm passionate about is to protect the bar, pub and nightclub industry, a lot of governments demonise night time industries, in order to line their landlord friends pockets, this is an assault on our culture, for the past 15 years it's been soul destroying watching venues, being ripped down to build a new flat pack looking condominium for soulless people, or well established businesses moving on because the new inhabitants don't like it being there.

hey can you make Tentazione peccaminosa (sinful temptation) 2oz bourbon, 1oz sweet vermouth, 3/4 creme de casis, 3/4 lemon juice. 3/4 simple syrup. 1 dash angostura bitters. Shake double strain. Garnish lemon and orange slice
Can add to a list I have. Is there any history on this drink or is it your own creation? Later down the line might do a subscribers creations video.
I would suggest Woods Navy Neaters from Guyana could be good for this cocktail
Navy Neaters? Remember that bottle of Woods Navy Rum, caused carnage at your BBQs.
@CynicalMixologist In Great Yarmouth we call it Nelsons Blood
Looks like a banging summer cocktail 🍹
Thanks mate, more of these on their way.
Amazing ❤
Thank you!
Lovely ❤❤
Cheers make sure you try one.
Delicious ❤❤ Grow together stay connected
Thanks 👍
Looks great
Thanks 👍
Looks good
Thank you, the Al Bitter one was very good.
Gets the job done
True! Very easy to drink.
i like Coldplay
Hahaha I bet you follow up with Nickelbacks greatest hits?

Making it look respectable
Thanks. I’ve had a lot substandard ones over the years, the xanthum gun is the winner here.
Looks cracking
Thanks mate
Spicy 'ritas with Tajin is my go to. I actually enjoy the chucky bits floating around. Add cucumber and it's even better.
That’s hardcore Sean, I’m too OCDish haha. Cucumber is a great shout, also think along with Agave Syrup, a couple of dashes of Saline solution would work.
good stuff i gotta try this one
Thanks. It’s a great drink, not a big Whiskey and St Germain fan, but this one works well.
I love your garnishes on this but I really hope you were trolling us with that pronunciation of Tajin.
Thanks they work well the grapefruit was a game changer. Haha Perhaps and not using grapefruit soda!
@@CynicalMixologist J in Tajin is like the j in jalapeno. Also, are grapefruits orange-size in the UK??
Noted! Out of interest how do you pronounce Worcestershire? They’re a mixed bag in all honesty especially with online food shops. I do get them in from one place they are like kettlebells. Main thing about sharp citrus fruits for me is fresh juice, inexcusable when people served up from a bottle or in syrups. A worrying trend I’ve seen a couple of times in recent years, some places have cocktails on tap…
Looks good
Thanks!
Well done! 💯
Thanks much appreciated!
Woodford reserve has done a 1 l size Kentucky Derby bottle with roses on the label and it's flying off the shelves at the store I work at
That sounds cool. I need diversify my bourbon selection, so will short list that one 👍
Looks wicked 🌅
Thanks, like seeing that beautiful sunset, realising St James and Spencer are on the Horizon 😂
@@CynicalMixologist 😂😂
The dead fly in the shaker really adds a bit of a kick...
Whatever it was, it tasted exquisite 👌🏼😂
Never even heard of it, but watermelon and mint are a great combo.
It’s a good drink. The Mint was my idea, agree they both work well together, could have added some to the shaker, but would have been a lot going on.
When life gives you tiger lemons…..run
For the hills!
Good job 🥰🔔👍
Cheers mate! It’s a great drink, grapefruit and rum always a winner.
One of your best yet! I'll be getting some Amaro Nonino tomorrow.
Thanks. It’s a great drink, so will check out more options with it.
Boeng 😂😂
Just don’t go taking a seat close to exit 😉
Absolutely love these - am I extra? Actually don’t answer that 😂
Thanks Jo! You’re never an extra. But did you attend the Regatta? That’s the most important question 😂
Looks great 🍷
Cheers mate was decent! Good drink especially if the sun was out, which it wasn’t out today!
first here, subscribed. i like the concept, reminds me to vintage american cocktails channel, however its looks like more personal. gg, glhf.
Thanks! Much appreciated. Lots of American drinks, along with other nations in the production line, some will be pre prohibition others modern classics.
Great stuff
Cheers mate, was a great drink!
I'd love to see a Paper Plane video 😁
Added it to the list Sean, so it will be made this season 👍
Nice drink mate! Irish person officially approved!!!
Cheers mate! Had to try something different!
Set looking wicked
Cheers mate, has a lot more soul now, looked like an abattoir previously!
I never want to order one of these at a bar but I love them. Thanks!
It’s a good drink. If I was feeling in a trolling mood, I’d get in a Blue Lagoon, wind everyone up.
Agreed, but you’re also kind of burying the lead here. James Bond used the wrong spirit! whatever he did to the prep beyond that… Was too late anyhow.
True, being a Brit, it's my duty to let people down easy about a beloved fictional characters incorrect take on a drink. Will be looking at the Vesper in the future though. To this day I wonder, how many people in the bar industry, have had an annoying customer ordering a dry martini shaken not stirred.
Rudolph who? 😂
Kunett had to be careful I didn't slip up there...
😂
"Like your sister's strange boyfriend" ... make it a double
Got a few jokes some less PC. I like the disappeared in a yachting accident line, adds a layer of preppy flair, especially when your British and heard the "My family holidayed in Martinique and the Italian Riveria when I was a child in the summer" etc
Merry Fuckin' Christmas! The mimosa has several variants, like using crisp hard cider and champers, or a variant with added brandy, or using pineapple juice instead of OJ. Try these variants with your Buck's Fizz as well.
Great shout Thanks! Cider, I don't need any encouragement, I'm long overdue a bollocking off the Dentist! As was getting through crates of the stuff last year.
Agreed definitely a underated drink!! Back in Belfast we used to float a Guinness head on top of these. Delicious!!
Two Ingredients as well! That sounds like a great idea, was there any local nicknames for it?
nah it was just on the cocktail list as a Black Russian , worked pretty well as the Guinness head still has the coffee notes but gave it some creaminess at the same time. Would be hard to get the same result at home though without an actual Guinness tap!@@CynicalMixologist
@@therustybartender I can see that working well notes wise. Haha not going to attempt it with a dodgy can of Guinness.
How are there not 4 zeros on the end of that subscriber number?
Thanks. It’s going to be a long journey but will get there.
Well, that's just, like, you're opinion, man
A popular opinion. Although will admit it’s ignored sibling without the dairy is a good drink.
@@CynicalMixologist The Dude approves!
New favorite channel.
Cheers! Many more videos planned.
The Old Fashioned is my personal favorite. I use a simple syrup instead of sugar to cut out the graininess of the sugar crystals, but that's just a personal preference. It wouldn't stop me from enjoying one if someone else made it. :)
It's great drink very simple, but it works. I agree simple syrups is a great substitution, I'm a bit old school and like muddling ingredients, but not a great choice if you're impatient are waiting for me to make a Mojito 😂
Give it a good dry slap! Loved it cheers!!
Cheers! The mint definitely deserves one. Original with Angostura is the way to go.
Ha Ha emotional support!! Great job mate
It’s a toned post modern politically correct, version of the infamous John Sitton rant.
Hey man just found your channel . Love the humour!! You wouldnt believe it but you still get people ordering these in Australia lol
Cheers mate! Always got to take the piss out of things. Haha It’s a great drink in fairness, but has those 70’s vibes.
I don't drink, but hell I'm going to make this!
Time to form a new habit, just don’t go causing any riots!
It's a nice day, for a, white Russian
one suggestion. replace the cream with a cream lacquer such as "Baileys Irish Cream". its like liquid coffee candy that will clonk you over the head.
Great idea. Like a big Baby Guinness shot only with a bit of Vodka, always find Baileys exists this time of year e.g a lot of people buy it at Christmas but aside from a small glass, here and there, it just sits there.
Amazing mate thanks for the Caucasian !! Great memories of vegas !
It was quality, would like to go back with a big group one day, but it would be absolute carnage.
