  I'm about to buy this, but what's not clear is how to get the garage light to switch on or off with these remotes. On the remotes that come with the opener, the big button is for the door. One of the 2 small buttons is for the lights on/off. The 3rd button does nothing. But on these remotes, in this video, when you program the door (A or B) is one of the bottom buttons automatically programmed for the lights?? Thanks in advance for any confirmation/info.

  Somehow this worked on my ancient Genie Model 404 "Green Monster". There are no DIP switches in the garage door opener but there is a strip of nine in the original handheld remote. They were set at what is decribed here as "222228882#". I followed the programming instructions here... *# 1# 12# or 16# 222228882#. At that point my old code worked... Not 1111# or 2222# but the code that was working with the wireless Clicker keypad I replaced. Don't ask me how! * Re 12# or 16# above. I can't remember which one worked. They're both for an old Genie.

  I programmed the remote and it worked fine but when I returned home it wouldn’t open the garage door. I tried to reprogram and the remote’s LED light wouldn’t come on to allow the reprogram. I programmed the other remote and it did the same thing. I’m stuck.

  I have spent 2 hours trying to figure out how to use this remote. I bought 3 of them non work at all. I ended up throwing them away and trying a another brand that took 15 seconds to program and you don't have to take everything apart.

  If i have two JD-06; one installed on the garage door (outside of the house) and second one installed inside house. When the JD-06 garage door is turn on, do is it trigger o turn on the second JD-06 via RF Anttena?

  Helpful. You can also press buttons 2 & 3 simulatenously to begin programming, instead of unscrewing the device to hit the program button.
