When I taught at Middlebury College, 2000-2015, I often had dinner with other professors at the Swift House. Also, before I taught there, I stayed overnight in the inn several times. Thanks for the memories!

Gotta have a cozy dinner at the Waybury Inn, which appeared as the Stratford Inn in the 80s sitcom "Newhart". The most nationally recognized location in Middlebury, by far.

@@TheAnswersAreWithin Hey, I just came across your comment as I was watching this video to make sure I didnt miss anything to do in Middlebury for my next KZread video(which is going to be all about Middlebury). I was born at the Porter hospital and I live about 15min from Middlebury and I like it for the most part. It's a college town so there's decent food, it's a very active outdoorsy town close to a ski resort, close to a really nice lake, and overall pretty decent. I cover all that and more in my next video which should be uploaded early next week. Politics-wise Middlebury is quite far left & progressive. Not sure if you like that or hate that but it's just worth knowing. Reach out if you have any questions or need a real estate agent. : )
