  I wouldn't say Goring itself is a holiday destination as it's a small residential town in West Sussex. But if you like walking then the county of Sussex in general has many lovely walks on the coast and on the South Downs.

I am an avid follower of UK politics (and US) and like to associate people with geography. I am too old and have some health issues which have meant my foregoing long rambles with dogs (and one died 3 months back), so it was a joy to have a virtual walk. I LOVE my doggies! Subscribed.

  @@alistairhackney In U.K. we have rain almost the whole year round. Or snow and sleet when it’s cold. It’s bleak! But give us two weeks of continued sunshine and the government issue a hosepipe ban…. I’m not joking. Therefore, the ‘water location point’ would be useless for drawing water. Only in U.K. can there be such a thing as a hosepipe ban. We are practically marshland! Follow me for more unbelievably inept ways to manage country necessities.
