Mother pigs babies so nice love for all 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🤗🤗🤗
Agreed!!
We primarily raised bed garden but added an approximate 25' x 30' in ground last year. I invested in a Hoss Wheel Hoe, and it's great for light cultivation between the rows to keep weed pressure down. If not familiar with, your garden appears to be a great candidate for a wheel hoe. But I'm sure I'm preaching to the choir. Enjoyed your video. Panama City, Florida zone 9a
Thanks! I actually had to look that one up, I see why you say its an investment ;) I'm trying to use what I have and keep in shape. We have long winters so gotta use this time for vitamin d and workouts 😆
And love panama city! We've vacationed down there a few times
Hi.ok.ok🎉🎉🎉🎉
Shes looks miserable 😂
Oh you have everything!!! I enjoyed the tour! I had to remove a lot of parsley.,,it pretty enduring:)
Awww thanks for watching! I sure love that herb garden. Yeah who knew about parsley! I thought it was an annual for my climate. Strong stuff.
Nice! Naan bread is redundant though, as naan means bread. It’s like saying chai tea
Haha!!
What type of hoe do you use? There's a ton of different ones. Do you use a regular garden hoe with 90 degree angles, a pointed hoe, or a wheel hoe?
Hey! I use a 3 prong hoe for the light weeds and a wedge hoe for those big ol suckers
My newest strategy to deal with weed pressure is to compact my planting and narrow the rows to allow less sunlight to hit bare soil. The scuffle/shuffle hoe is easy to use, but a lot of weeds come right back b/c it only shears off the top of the weed and doesn’t get the root. When the temps get really high,I just pull the really big ones otherwise I just accept the weeds and I am still satisfied with the garden. You are doing a great job!
Yes! Agreed. I've been trying to do that on some items and working towards that, but forgot on some rows 😆 Appreciate that, thank you! So. Much. Work. But it feels so good
I use a shuffle hoe that I got at Lee Valley in Ontario. It works best when the weeds are smaller. Its a back and forth motion. Easy and fast so you do it more often. Nice garden!
Oh nice! I do not have one but sounds like I should!
@@foodprood another nice hoe this store has is called a Hoe Me Hoe. Has a point which is very handy for getting into little spaces between plants and for making rows to any depth. The shuffle (I think that's what it's called) is best when the soil is drier. This year I've been using the other more because it's been a wet growing season so far. We had a heat wave last week, it was great. You can only garden in that heat for 2 or 3 hours though. I used to have a big garden like yours but the kids are grown. Even some of the grands are in university already. Time flies. Now my garden is maybe 1/3 of yours, maybe less. Love to see other gardens. Thanks
Same weather here to! It's been odd but heat than rain so I feel ya! I have a similar hoe like that one that I absolutely love!! I love seeing other people's gardens to, they make me happy. I love to see people growing food!!
What zone are you in. I have one tomato plant with 4 blooms and one tiny tomato. My 20 other plants no blooms. All look pretty healthy
Hi! Last year 4b, this year 5a. Where are you? Mine are looking a lot better now but it took some care and time
@@foodprood 7b my first time having my own garden. I have 21 tomatoe plants so I hope my tomatoes produce atleast a small batch per plant this year. I'm not giving up though and plan to have another garden next year. Thank you for answering my questions.
@@danacaldwell1035 That's great to hear!! Keep up the good work and love to hear your gonna grow bigger next year. How exciting!
