  Early 70's and I bought the Spanish equivalent of the Italian Innocenti. Forget the name now, but identical to the Lambretta. All silver at the time the GP 150 and 200 models in red or orange were released, but my apprenticeship money wouldn't stretch that far. I seized the engine from a faulty 2-stroke petrol station oil machine and I was only 16 at the time. Both arms in plaster up to the elbow from the resulting bounce and roll down the tarmacadam of a dual carriageway as I was too stupid to engage the clutch and release the seized back wheel. Few years later, left to join the British Army and returned on leave to find my Dad had sold the scooter and pocketed the money. Would be nice if you listed the tunes - Keep the Faith.

  We rode 68 miles to get to the meeting point then got soaked through for the last 1.5 mile, sod's law. We still had a great time, Great video 👍✊🇬🇧🛵

  How was Edwin able to learn to ride a scooter on the wrong side of the road? Shame he didn't get more scooter years. I wasn't aware of his Vespa love. It just makes him that much cooler. He got to disconnect from the Mafia in USA apparently. Must be more to that story coming someday. RIP Edwin. You left way too soon.

  Brings back memories of early days of twisted wheel in Stoke , Wigan casino in 1976 and the North East. Crews in Chester le street and Newcastle on Tyne keep the faith brother the memories flooded back. I was there 👍 great times 😊

  Not a scooterist started in 1970 Lambretta 150 Sr 1 then on bikes till 65 years of age and now on a Kawasaki j300 scooter and very good it is know the Kings Head often used to meet my late parents at Kings Head for lunch when visiting them In Sheringham where they retired to..
