  How do you put the straps back on? I had to take them off to wash because my baby threw up on them. She threw up on the whole car seat and I can't remember if I assembled it correctly.

  FML. I assumed this could be converted to a backless booster. This is the same thing as before, just with the car seatbelt instead of the belt on the actual car seat. Definitely seems less safe.

  As KevGrand13 mentioned several months ago...run the slack end of the strap up through the hole where the cup holder would be sitting. Made a world of difference for me.

  This car seat is absolutely garbage. Do not buy it if you care about the safety of your children at all. It doesn't tighten to being safe at all no matter what you do. Buy literally anything else.

  Someone else wrote this but make sure it’s off and then hold down the power button for about 5 seconds or more, it will beep and that is it changing.

  Do yourselves a favor and skip this car seat. Those latches are lose af and I literally had to get on the car seat myself in order to tighten the belt for the seat not to move as much. Granted, I'm pretty skinny at 6'2 170. It was a pain in the butt.

  Is Safety 1st going to address the fact that the back end of the car seat is incapable of being secured ? If we got into a collision and had to slam on the brakes he would just tip up like a flap. That doesn’t seem right..

  All car seat bases are like that unless they are designed with a load leg or rebound bar. It is still safe so long as installed correctly. The car seat will do its job of keeping baby safe even if it tips up a bit.

  My wife spent nearly $30 for a pack of 4 of these. I watched this video before installing and the first set went fine enough, except the adhesive didn't have an easy peel piece of yellow backing as it does in the video and the red backing is a nightmare to get off without it. oh well. on the 2nd set, neither of them worked. The first one does not consistently after opening with the magnet. The second one, the catch piece does NOT pop up at all even when on green. Will be leaving a negative amazon review and asking for money back.

  What worked for me for tightening was putting the recliner on 3 (the first step they show on this video). When it was on the default level 1 I could barely tighten it, but once it went to 3, it was very easy to tighten it.
