I do think that since the best of the best men are either playing pro somewhere else, g league or one and done there is not a lot of time to build up players or have all time records like what caitlin is doing. I think the womens ncaab is the best it has ever been and mens is in a bit of a slump with no viral sensation (like a steph, zion, etc) playing right now.

People in Iowa have been supporting all our teams since the beginning so that won't change and I suspect that every Fever game will be sold out but the national spotlight is going to follow her and women's college basketball is going to go down a little bit in the long run it got a net profit from Caitlin and the wnba will too unless they f it up.
the women's have more hype, because most of their stars stay in school for 4 to 5 years, you actually get to know the players in women's college basketball, and so this is how story lines develop that you can follow over the years that they play, where as what killed the Men's game for me, is the One and Done rule, i have no interest, because I dont know anybody, anyone who good, leaves after one year, so there is no players to get behind/root for to get excited about because there all in the NBA ...Shame.

However, because there's Men's Basketball, our nature is to compare, "ARE the women as good as us"? We can't we simply celebrate their success. reed has one of if not the highest floors in the whole draft, his game will def translate. Rob has that boom or bust potential but will get picked higher cuz of his star potential

Not sure Reed is #1 but his insane defense is what gets NBA teams excited. He's a low usage high impact player who can fit in with way more teams than Dillingham. He can play on or off ball, whereas Dillingham needs the ball in his hands.

I'm not shading Dillingham at all, he's has a good chance to be a good NBA player, I'm just saying what the NBA sees in Reed is a big bag of versatility on both ends of the court so he can fit in a lot of situations.
