STAY AWAY. I returned a Samsung phone that was constantly restarting, within the warranty period. Included pictures of the phone in my online return form. Backmarket sent my phone back, and stated the warranty was voided due to cracked camera, evidence of dropping. However, there were no cracks or damage of any kind when I sent the phone to them. I packaged it well, in the same packaging I received the phone. I know they damaged it themselves - whether on purpose or not I don't know, but they're using it as the reason they won't honor the warranty. Now I have no phone and no recourse. I asked repeatedly to be contacted by a manager, no contact. You can't call anyone, it's all online correspondence. I do NOT recommend this company. They are not honest and they do not honor their warranty and they have very poor customer service.

Back Market is legit. I just wish there was a system in place to make the good or bad vendors more accountable. You just look at star ratings and hope most of them are authentic. Thanks for the video review.

Hello, late to the party, but could you explain if the screen was LED just like that of the original? One thing you might notice is that phone repair shops usually replace the original LED panel (if broken) with a much cheaper, more inferior LCD screen. My guess is this is why the prices on these renewed devices can get so low. The always-on-display features are really nice but they only work if you have an LED screen (AMOLED, as Samsung likes to call it). I would also like to see a battery drainage review from 100% to 0% and a comparison with the original battery. Thank you.

The reason the fair one was in good condition, is because they ran out of fair condition phones and just downgraded it on paper to get the sale. you can't easily inventory the different grades when they run out due to them being used, this is to be expected, as they don't want to miss the sales. However you may still get one that is 'fair' if you buy one, so don't be disappointed.

Bought an iphone 14 plus off Backmarket in good condition and it’s beautiful. Everything is perfect literally. It is a replaced screen so i don’t have true tone but, I’m content with that. It isn’t as bright as the original screen but its OLED screen really helps you see it clear as day during any time of day. Tested everything else out and in my opinion, $500 is not bad for a (2022??) phone. Other than that I’ve had 3 other great experiences off of backmarket. My airpod pro 2’s, 2 macbook pros, and my iphone 14 plus. All in amazing condition with literally NO scratches. Good condition on all.

I watched a commercial for this site and the unboxing was VERY different and I feel set you up for a let down. The phones do not come in a proper box but in flimsy cardboard ones that could easily be damaged. Shame.

I purchased a iPhone X through Back Market last week and although the phone looked brand new the "Maximum Battery Capacity" was at 73%. With all the rigorous testing these phones are supposed to go through I'm not sure how something like this happens? Anyway I am in the middle of the return process waiting for the seller to receive the defective phone I sent back. I know Back Markets policy states the seller has 3 days to make this right but after the battery fiasco I don't know how well the seller pays attention to detail. Thank you for taking the time to make these videos

I started to just keep the iPhone and have Apple replace the battery but that would have been another $100 plus the headache of driving to a Apple store a couple hours away. Do you think it is best to ask for repair or replacement in a situation like this? Thank you once again for all the great content and especially for reaching back out to me.

I’d ask for replacement because they may create other problems replacing the battery. It depends on the vendor, but some vendors aren’t the best at replacing parts.
