Hi, do you have an idea how heavy the backpack is now?
Hi, Rookie mistake I should have weighed it at the end of the video, I will do this again as soon as I can and let you know. Russ
@@hitthetrail Wow, thats nice, thank you!
hoping to get my 1st camp here in aug!
It's a great place, we will return again soon. let us know what you think when you have been.
That was useless, zero info on the pack, just a bunch of tiktok reels strung together
Hi Sorry this was not good for you, I am in the process of making a full review of the AllTrail pack, this material is Thule official promotional content. Hopefully I will release the full review soon.
Needs to be in different colours and should have electrics from the towbar
Thanks for watching, I will pass on your comments to Thule.
Ok speed is cool and all, but on the trail I really don't care if water boils in 2,5min or 3,5min. What I care about is how long will my canister last. Too bad you didn't put both canisters on a scale before and after. I'm curious about the results
I recently made a video testing gas usage between the two heres a link. kzread.info/dash/bejne/hqujmcd6d7yvnZs.html
Is this the eclipse gray colorway?
Hi thanks for watching, yes its the Eclipse / grey. Russ
I know I am late to the party here but really nice video! I am thinking about buying this backpack and this video brought me a step closer to it. One quick advise: It would be helpful if you could share your size and weight in backpack videos. Not just because of the fitting of the backpack itself, but also because clothes of big people need more space than those of smaller people
Hi, Thanks for watching, I am 5ft 10" and 12 stone, hope that helps. Russ
What brand and style hoodie are you wearing in this video? Thanks.
Hi thanks for watching, my hoodie is a Fjallraven Keb Fleece, Ive had it years and its standing the test of time!
I don't see any guy ropes, surely a decent breeze will have that toppling over?!
Guy ropes can be added, its all fully tested by Thule, thanks for watching!
Wow!
Great bit of kit! Thanks for watching.
I have the original version with the wire adjusters, the new version adjuster looks even more simpler and comfortable.
I did not know the old version but the new one is really good and I see quite a few out on the trails.
👍
Thanks much appreciated!
You should have mentioned that the Talon/ Tempest series comes in extended fit (EF) models. The 45" waist person would have better access to the hip pockets with an EF version.
Thanks that's really helpful advice, I have not had any EF versions in the store yet so did not realise this.
Awesome video man, thanks! Recently brought this rucksack, and was wondering the best way to pack things up. Keep up the great work :D
Awesome! Thank you! Happy Adventures!!!
Thanks for the great info video! I just got my Primus Lite Plus today.
That's brilliant, I hope you will love it, I do!
Wonderful idea, for sure... I'm 5 ft 11 inches, what's its inside length?...thanks so much...Ray Vila, NYC USA...
Hi, thanks for watching and for your question which I have hopefully answered in my latest Q & A video. Russ
Thnamk you!
You're welcome, thanks for watching.

Hi, Thanks for watching, the New Outset is £3499.99 If you are intrested you can also use your exclusive KZread code for a discount in the cart. Hope that helps and thanks again, happy adventures, Russ
Very helpful, thanks!
You're welcome! and thanks for watching, Russ
primus say 2.45.. i own primus etalite and really like it. is it possiblke to buy sleeves separately? lets forget abt boil time as it s not that important. but what abt fuel consumption?? which one wins? that is a big question..
Hi, sorry for the time the video has taken... question answered in the new one, thanks for watching!
Hi, was this windproof and do you think it’s enough to wear for weather with 5-7 degrees? Thank you.
Hi. Thank you for watching. The Vardag Anorak is wind and water resistant (but not waterproof). It is also adaptable with Fjällräven's Greenland Wax, as it is made from their G1000 fabric, meaning the wind and water resistant nature of the anorak can be improved. If it was 5-7 degrees centigrade, I wouldn't wear this on its own, as it is not an insulating jacket, but would use it as an outer shell layer. In this instance, I would wear it with other layers underneath e.g., my Fjällräven Keb Fleece Hoodie. This is however, dependent on the type of activity that I would be undertaking.
What’s the weight . Thx. D.
Hi, thanks for watching and for your question which I have hopefully answered in my latest Q & A video. Russ
Could you share the dimensions of the travel pouch? Thanks in advance
Hi, thanks for watching and for your question which I have hopefully answered in my latest Q & A video. Russ
Mine is showing up tomorrow!
That’s brilliant, did you get it from us?
Do you stock the polar bear cover in green ?
Hi, Thanks for watching, yes we do have the green in stock with the polar bear, they are very hard to get hold of. I have attached a link to the page in our store. www.hitthetrail.co.uk/product-page/primus-lite-plus-stove-system-frilufts Please let me know if you need any help. Russ
@@hitthetrail can you link to specific item as I was unable to find it thanks
www.hitthetrail.co.uk/product-page/primus-lite-plus-stove-system-frilufts
Got it , I only wanted the cover as I already have the burner cup 👍
'frilufts'....'land'? 😳
Great video thanks, only thing missing are electricals; battery pack and chargers etc. Are there any secure internal zip pockets within or on the underside of the top section? Looks to be the only thing missing from the bag
Hi, thanks for watching and for your question which I have hopefully answered in my latest Q & A video. Russ
@@hitthetrail that's great thanks, just what I wanted to know 👍
Thanks for this, just ordered the back pack for my 2nd ever backpacking trip in a couple of weeks (first one was like 10 years ago lol). 3 days/2 nights so I feel pretty comfortable with what you were able to pack into this one. Very helpful!
No problem at all I'm glad it helped, have fun!
Thanks for all your hard work bringing us this great video, very much appreciated! Congrats from deepest Dorset. I have the older more flexible version and find it a dream although I find the hip pockets a bit of a faff to get into! 😂👍
You're welcome, and thanks for watching. Happy walking!
love your channel
Thanks for the great comment and for following! it's really nice to here.
@@hitthetrail of couse!
Once it comes down to below £1000 I’ll give it serious consideration. £3500 for a tiny tent is laughable, no matter how easy it is!
Let you know when that happens! Thanks for watching more to come soon!
Nice looking bag. Questions. Can the bike helmet thing be removed easily? Can the waist belt fit round a 45 inch gut without inducing a hernia? Can the hip pockets zips be opened one handed or do the zips get stuck? How much does the bag weigh empty? Is there a built in or supplied rain cover? Can you demonstrate the pole attachment or point me to a video showing them working? Many thanks
Hi Peter, Sorry for the delay replying, I have just posted a video which I hope helps with your questions. Thanks for watching and supporting our channel. Russ
What are inside dimensions
Hi, I hope this helps, Russ Dimensions (Open): 264 x 144 x 178 cm Dimensions (Closed): 144 x 74 x 90 cm Sleeping footprint: 225 x 134 cm Peak internal height: 113 cm Weight: 70 kg Static weight capacity: 300 kg
Expensive load of cr@p
Ummm, can’t get my head round it. I bet its good quality but I’d lose my towbar bike rack and its soooo much more money than a decent swag bag that is less likely to get nicked! Time there was a decent quick erect tent out there , maybe this will lead to development of other types and more reasonable prices Would like to try one ( rent one) rather than buy one!
Thanks for watching, more to come soon!
£3,500 pounds 😮😮😮😮
Look out for deals!!
Hello, I am not sure if this comment reaches you. I was wondering if it would be possible for you to make Osprey Atmos AG LT 65 Backpack Review in case you have it in the shop. Loved the video about Osprey Rook 65, thanks in advance 😉
Hi, Thanks for getting in touch and watching the video, we don't have the Atmos in our selection at the moment but I have added it to the list to be ordered, as soon as we have it in stock I will be sure to do a take a look video for you. Hope that helps. Russ
Nice review but the music overlay was way too loud
Thanks for watching and sorry.
Thanks a lot for this video review. This burner has some really smart features, I still run with the MSR vwindburner, but this ones is way more compact. Cheers
Thanks for watching, there's a lot of great equipment out there, enjoy the adventure!
Hi, thanks for the message, I’m so pleased you are enjoying yours, as you can see I love this stove and totally agree in comparison to the Jetboil it’s much quieter and that’s the same for all the burners on their stoves. I’m planning a few more reviews on the Primus Lite+. Thanks for following and supporting our small business 😊 Enjoy being out in nature.
I bought the Primus from you and a small fold-a-cup fits neatly in the cup/lid. It's so nice to make and share a quick coffee, and not have to shout.
Thanks for watching and keeping in touch!
Thanks for the review! Curious though how tall are you and what size is the jacket?
Hi 👋 I’m wearing a Medium and I’m 5ft 11”
Hi 👋 I’m wearing a Medium and I’m 5ft 11”
Every backpack is comfortable without load
I agree, following this review we also tested the pack on a trekking expedition with a load and can still confirm it was comfortable.
@@hitthetrail thank you
Why whistle??
For safety
That was incredibly helpful.. Subscribed
That's great to hear, more to come soon, thanks for subscribing.
The best M65 on the planet is made by Triple Aught design. It is more expensive, thicker, much higher quality with better features and there's a liner available. With that being said, most of Fjallravens jackets fit me really well and are still great.
I will check that out, thanks for letting me know and watching.
How tall you are?
Hi I am 5ft 11", I hope the video was helpful.
@@hitthetrail thank you. I'm 6'1, I guess the size is perfect, doesn't seem too big
👍👏👏👏👏👏👏👏🙏
They are really great!
actually they do shrink, i've had 2 pairs and i recommend buying 1 or 2 sizes up to account for shrinkage
Thanks for the feedback, it helps us to be able to give good feedback to future customers.
I have the black version of this bag cant fault it. Love the design whereby the back is raised away from the wearers back, genius. Thanks for the content
Great to hear you have a pack and also love it, thanks for the comment, look out for more videos, Russ
Thanks, great too see. Given me a good sense of what I can fit. Thanks
I'm glad the video was of help, look out for more.
I have a lot of Fjallraven gear and this is one of my favourites. I picked it up last year second hand as a more town-friendly alternative to the Greenland jacket. I use a light dressing of Barbour wax in winter because it's just so much easier and better than Greenland Wax (sorry Fjallraven) and wear over a fleece or wool shirt if the weather is horrible. It's a really comfortable and practical jacket, and if something happened to it, I would actually pay full price to replace it
That's great to hear! Thanks for watching.
