How many seed taters in a bucket ... just found the vid ...6 taters ...I just did same 4 taters ...smaller bucket...did not test oh....used cow manure...bone meal.. worm castings ....formulated veg garden soil .. it have some sand in it

Morning Fred, my onions and tomatoes have been decimated by slugs. And I think my shallots may have leaf miner 😢😢. Wow sounds right windy Fred but it should keep the pigeons on alert 😅. My beets are in trays because last year I had leaf miner and I’m not sure where to put the new ones. Have a simply awesome week, Ali 🌧️🌥️🇨🇦

Hi Fred. I bought soil from ASDA and it was so fibrous and an insult to the name soil. I honestly wonder how a company can buy crap in and not look at it first. It's their reputation as well. I put mine in the compost heap to mix under as I didn't have the heart to plant anything into it. Your onions are looking great. You can add sulphhate of ammonia to feed them. I use it on my kelsae. Beds are all looking ready for spring 💪. We are under a foot of snow still but due some rain. My spring and savoy I babied all winter have been eaten 😢 by a rat that decided my poly/shed was a great vacation spot 🤬🤬. Oh well spring will soon be here, I hope everything is ok after the wind 🤞. Hi Fred. Some people put drain pipes with holes drilled in them down the centre of the leaf pile. Helps with oxygenation they say. Never tried it myself. Apart from clearing up and maintenance, not much else to do until the turn of the year. Elaine 🌱 🌱
