Nice video. Simple repair that the dealership would charge around 2hrs labor and they will also try and tell you your ac system needs to be evac & recharged to. But as he explains it doesn’t need this due to the placement of the Schrader valve. 👍👍👍

After I change diesel filter the car worked fine for some hours. But when turned off for some hours the diesel are "gone" from the filter. Making it impossible to start up again... Strange error
Hi there, had the same issue with my car, same car just from 2009, I've put a brand new egg valve in and cleaned everything but the engine management light keeps coming back on with the same error code, and the car feels jerky in 2nd and 3rd gear at around 2000 rpm, got the car down to the garage they erased the fault codes but about 30 mins later came back again...what's the solution
The EGR valve could be defective, and it should be investigated by a professional technician. Do not replace it straight away, prove the defectness

Hi, i have i40 1.7 crdi and my start stop light blinks then stays on when i start the car A with circle light, it gets the same code as on this car, also the battery is at 12.2 to 12.4 volts constant, alternator voltage is at 13.7 to 14 v. Also the light goes away and sometimes stays on
Holy crap i just removed 2 thermostat screws from my 2.0 cfgc engine yesterday without stripping anything from the engine and it takes around 2h cause its so tight there.... after watching this video i'll leave it till next weekend cause its not that easy as i thought it will 🫥 Thanks for that, otherwise i'll probably trying to replace it today and will stay without the car as is my only one now and need it to work tomorrow. Crap.

When torquing down the bolts/screws, you should always do it in a diagonal pattern and not sequential. That could distort the mating surfaces?
How much do you charge for a job like this one? I gotta do it and also take out intake manifold and clean it

You just prime the fuel system and the priming will fill the fuel filter up then put the original relay back on and crank the engine over, when the original relay is on, as soon as you crank the engine with ignition key the fuel pump is going to start pumping fuel to the fuel filter.
I have the same car with the exact same issue fuse all look good
Excellent video sir. In my Smart fortwo 451, I don't have the oil pressure sensor either, since it probably broke when the belt was cut. Anyway, even without the sensor, in my car, the oil pressure light, It turns on and then turns off, it's no problem. I'm about to buy the sensor and I'm going to change it as soon as possible, the only problem is that they covered the hole where the sensor goes with Poxipol and I don't know how I'm going to get it out. Any suggestions? Regards

Hi great video. I have the similar VW TDI 2.0 CFF engine, that have the problem of temperature only going upto 75 degrees. It now winter where I stay it takes long to warmup. I am thinking of doing this job. Does this car with a manual transmission like this one not have the 2nd thermostat like the DSG transmission?
The key scenes in the video are very good for understanding what needs to be done to remove the oil pan. Other KZreadrs don't show scenes that show what's important. Big thanks

Hi mate I did the timing belt today then I went to rotate it twice, the engine won't turn can resetting the timing fix this ? The Haynes manual did not have the timing marks for the top left one 11oclock. I used both tools for the right and bottom ones to lock them
One more question, when to put it Back, what are the stpes? Doea it need to be adjuested? Or Something like this.tx

My Peugeot 208 1.6 HDI gives 700 miles warning. But Adblue has been added and tank is full. Will I be able to continue driving past 700 miles? (had NOX sensor changed and still didn't fix the problem)
Thanks for watching our channel You need to relearn it to the vehicle engine ECU by a capable diagnostictool. There is another fluid used in this vehicle called DPF fluid. Confusion occurs sometimes, distinguishing between adblue and DPF fluid , which one the message is for, topping up adblue doesn’t require relearning procedure but topping up DPF (fat fluid) does require relearning procedure plus resetting the nox sensor.

You always replace the water pump with the water pump housing. Usually the housing is the part that is leaking, not the pump. If you buy it original, the water pump always comes with the housing.

If the fuse is blown after replacing it, then follow the steps below: Disconnect N422 (solenoid)located on the bulkhead on the passenger side RH drive vehicle) it is just beneath the water repellent cover beside the wiper arm, and see if if the fuse stays alive because fuse numbers 14 powers up V400 and N422.

Hello, I replaced hp fuel pump and now get diesel right up to the hp fuel pump but can’t get diesel past the pump and to the fuel rail? Any ideas what I’ve done wrong?
If it appears after oil change, check your filter, you probably broke the stick on the filter.

How does the metal swarf get through that dense screen? That screen looks clean, it should be clogged with the swarf as well?
Where did all those metal filings come to the fuel rail? Had the HPFP failed catastrophically?
HPFP plunger cam lobe.
The new revised EGR NEED TO BE PROGRAMMED!!! Just do it at the dealership. Also they have an updated intake manifold too. But they have programs that covers either or Both. This is really important!
