You mentioned you use Molotow Paint Markers to sign your Funko’s, why do you prefer them compared to Deco Paint Markers? Does the fact that one is acrylic vs oil paint make a difference? Do you ever use the Molotow metallic or neon markers? As well, what size marker do you use on the Funko and does adding an inscription alter your choice of marker tip size? Do you ever do the sig in one color and the inscription in a different color and how do you choose which color for the sig? Lastly, do you unbox your Funkos first before getting signed?
@@EntertainmentFan-l4u you can have his athlete, sign and inscribe in different colors if you would like. We typically only send in the box and have it flattened so the Funko doesn’t get damaged.
@@PowersSportsMemorabilia thanks for the response. Just curious why do you prefer the acrylic Molotow for Funkos over the Deco oil paint markers? As well, do you find that the Molotow’s last as well over the long run against UV and temperature as the Deco?
@@EntertainmentFan-l4u molotow has never let me down. Does chip if you touch it. But you won’t
Dude I’m so appreciative of all the information you give from the videos. Super cool and I personally have learned a lot. You made Padres Spring Training such a success for me the last two years with your information.
@@rjjoshua2526 how about that. Thank you.
i live india i got a spurs jersey signed by ledley kind and ossie ardiles. i have video proof. where do i sell?
where in india can i get my jersey authenticated. i have a video proof
why do fees differ depending in signature? kinda cheapens the validity of the service
in regards to blue pens for baseballs, dont use a cheap pen avoid the free hotel pens or office supply store pens stick to a name brand pen with consistent ink flow and color bic cristal pens are very consistent
Your suggestion removed a marker from my family B&W old photo, thank you so much
Water or oil based for paint pens
Why are there so many “crap scans” then, where it says prizm, but you don’t see the reflection on the card?
This guy shouldn't be making videos about whether someone is legit or not especially when we have BBB. This can cause people to dump authentic and very valuable memorabilia.
Thanks for the useful video. Referring to your Larry Bird example that says "TRADING CARD", I have seen ones that simply says "CARD" (no TRADING). Is "TRADING CARD" the same as "CARD" based on your explanation?
Mark Hamill Luke Skywalker , I will be getting an expensive autograph from him on the light metal aluminum type lightsabers, I have watched many of your videos, which marker would you recommend??? Obviously waiting in line can be a little bit crazy and there is a certain amount of prep with paint pens. Also a lightsaber does not have a large surface for the autograph. Roughly an inch to an inch and a half by 3 to 4 inches. Please let me know your recommendations
Your videos always bring me joy. Congratulations on your passing, I'm already praying for your future customer service, you bless their lives with your knowledge and passion!

How come you never mention soccer balls I have a official 2024 MLS Pro official match ball by Adidas that I’m taking to a meet and greet with a few FC Cincinnati players. What’s the best pen and pen color this ball is very colorful already.

About how much is this card worth
@@randalmacy one hasn’t ever sold.
Can I send in a auto on a sticker that I put on a card of that player?
I go to baseball games and get autographs but the players sign a normal glossy card like a baseball card of topps series 1, the auto bubbles up and gets streaky. I used a black sharpie, anyway to fix this? The card wasn’t a topps chrome type.
What about the longevity of a sharpie extreme? I’m planning to meet a soccer team and after they’re finish training they will sign my jersey but idk if a paint pen will dry quickly enough since it will take 10-30 seconds for the other player to sign my jersey and the team is about 24-30 players. Would a sharpie extreme or Deco paint pen would be better?
@@christianvelazquezKingz paint pens, dry very fast on jerseys. Assuming it is a sewn on number.
@@PowersSportsMemorabilia it’s not on a number it would be on the clothing material
@@christianvelazquezKingz fine
@@PowersSportsMemorabilia so a deco paint pen is better if it’s written on the clothing fabric of the soccer jersey (not on the number) with 10 seconds span to dry out? Sorry, for asking a lot of questions since I’m new to this
@@christianvelazquezKingz you can have it signed anywhere it’s all the same
How about Paint pains or sharpies on writing on the cloth material like a soccer jersey? (Not on the number)

Great information.
I usually get autographs with a gold sharpie, for cards.
Lol VIP’s had the honor of paying $3,600 I’ve heard both sides people saying it’s greedy people and others saying he ruined their stuff I’m on the side of if you are offering a signing you better sign that the way you do every time Because let’s be honest anyone who says they just love the hobby is also looking to profit at some point If Michael J Fox can have a consistent autograph so can Tom Brady
Yes its called a pitbull
I do black sharpie on cards because I usually don’t have the signatures fated that way.And balls I do blue pen
the organizers and Brady have a lot of liability. They better lawyer up. The investors had valuable Brady mementos that are near worthless because his signature is so bad it cant be authenticated and it destroyed the value of the mementos. This will make his bitcoin FTX losses pale in comparison.
@@pdureska7814 nothing will happen. Technically, he did provide a signature.
@@PowersSportsMemorabilia i think i would still worry. he provided a "signature" not associated with his usual signature. He did it multiple times on purpose. He essentially defaced items with significant value and harmed their value. i think there is liability. If i had paid $3600 for Tom Brady to sign a piece of memorabilia and instead got a scribble i would consult an attorney. How can you "prove" Brady actually signed the item. Was the signing viewed by the collectors? Why was the signature not consistent with his prior signatures? Many questions. Most important why would he do that to those collectors on purpose? Simply saying technically he gave a signature is pretty cold and simplistic. If thats the "explanation" it appears to be a money grab or so it would seem unless many questions answered. Anyway your thoughts aside, this is my opinion and my opinion of Brady has fallen dramatically. Deflatgate with a pen if you will.
@@pdureska7814 the people paid to attend the event. Not for the autograph specifically.
@@PowersSportsMemorabilia $3600 to attend an event??? ok i guess but it was reported it was $3600 per item to be signed. some people brought multiple items to be signed by Brady. THATS what they paid $3600 for and more if they had multiple items they wanted signed. . Is that incorrect? i hardly think people would bring all their memorabilia without the expectation it would be signed. Did it say in whatever invitation used about signing memorabilia i,e, signing of memorabilia was allowed or charged per item. i mean it sounds like from the reportage that the event centered around Brady signing memorabilia. One guy paid tens of thousands of dollars to have multiple items signed. i've been to exactly one event it was a cruise and it centered around current and retired baseball stars some of whom were HOF. you could bring bats, baseballs, gloves etc to be signed. each player or ex player had a table where you stood in line and they would sign your item (s). i had 3 or 4 baseballs but i kept one for 1 person in particular...Bob Feller. i think this was not like that kind of an event
@@pdureska7814anyone who pays $3600 for an autograph deserves what they get.

After numerous bad experiences with Mr. Mays, I find that story just another example of disrespect he had for his fans. I hope he's at peace now, but he seemed very unhappy during his last 30 plus years.

It’s funny that people are like I don’t wanna get scam so I’m gonna make this video and I’m gonna watch this video…. But guess what the scammers are probably watching your video also. which sucks for all of us but anyway, I just inherited a Steve Young sign jersey with a letter of authenticity but I think the stitching looks like crap, so how do I know if it’s real or not I don’t wanna get arrested for trying to sell it and I’m too pretty for prison, so any suggestions?
I standard one is premium framing. I the like the standard one with the plate and photos.
If we’re local (JoCo/KCK), can we just drop it off? By the way, post office in KC is being investigated as of this week.
So stupid. Why do people deface their cards? My friend had a Nolan Ryan graded 4. He removed it from the psa case and had it signed my Ryan. What a dope! Paid 100 to foundation to get signed, value of that card is now about 1/3 to 1/4 of what it was if he left it alone.
Why does the value matter? What if he just wanted it signed?
@@PowersSportsMemorabilia he wants to sell it on eBay. I said sell it as is. I could be wrong . Appreciate your reply.
Wow. What a low class move.
I know! People who are obsessed with autographs are the worst.
@@mikegeiler2347 Its not that. Its the principal of business. I've paid you for a degree of product or service and you've failed to deliver. What are you going to do about this?
@@checkdown3774 what am I going to do? I’m going to laugh in your face for thinking signing an autograph at an event so you can sell the item on eBay is considered “product or service” you got what you paid for. You saw him sign it, you know it’s real. What does it matter if you can’t have a third party “authenticate” it unless you plan on reselling the item? Imagine putting this much effort in to a real job instead of leeching off of other people’s fame.
I recently buyed a signed Ronaldinho shirt witnessed by Beckett for 850 € but the shirt is a limited edition a memorial of winning the final . I don’t know if the shirt is authentic do you think the price is so expensive because of the player ? (Soccer)
