First comment in 9 years!! The place he's describing, TAPS, I lived in the area and played there several times. I absolutely LOVED that place. The indoor field was giant, so much cover. It was so much fun. I was a teenager in TAPS heyday. Lots of great memories. Now I'm too old to play. But it was fun times.
im so glad this interview exists in the ether for all of future time to look back on. incredible man he is and so awesome to hear his insights
That was super racist Rich Telford, bro
I remember reading a paintball magazine back in the late 80’s or early 90’s regarding a tournament where a team called “Nazi Death Mercenaries from Hell” had been disqualified for cheating during the tournament by using super absorbent cleaning cloths when getting hit, and having tools to alter the speed of paintballs beyond allowable limits, etc. That article always stuck in my head, anybody know what happened to that team?
I want one of these so bad lol.
most beautiful mini mag ive seen are you selling ?
Im suprised there is no hitman mod.
The legendary father of one of the greatest markers ever made
super cool informational video. Thank you Dan and Sergey
Does this mark the return of the best paintball history channel ever???
Love these types of videos, Dan!
Quickfire frames value just jumped
Now I want one of these trigger plates....
The ones that come on complete ans chaos series guns always felt better fitted than just throwing the plate in a random frame. AKA also makes a pretty thick plate
Hello I was wondering if you can help me out, so at the moment I’m a magfed player and I have a little project going on where I’m planning to make a n1 supernova into a mag fed marker using rap4 firestorm magazines But for a while I will only be using one magazines and carrying tubes to fill up the magazine I’m looking into how to carry the tubes ; are their any setups/harnesses/belts you recommend ? I am a bit of an aggressive player and hoping to minimize dropping any tubes and potentially firestorm magazines when I get more
Cool vid, I still play with my mini I bought with my first paycheck back in 95, only mod was a Venturi bolt and a graffiti barrel. Very distinct “ping” noise, everyone knew when It was me doing the shooting.
What an awesome mag!
Having the matching power feed plug is cool to. It just seems like something that could get lost forever considering they were often replaced right away.
Love your videos! Not only are the markers really cool but the history and stories you and your guests have are the absolute best!
AUTOMAG FTW!!! 2024 and I'm still rocking my 68Automag, MiniMag, RTvalve, pmuemag and E-mag 1.8. Get that Mag outside and fire it up please. ✌️out from this guy 👈😎👉
Please make more videos. I LOVE experiencing the golden age of paintball again. I have had vintage automags (automag, Emag, RT Pro (one of my all time favorites, the trigger is 🧑🍳👌 mmmuah, PERFECT!), angels (dark angel and others) stock autococker with Venturi bolt and ANS inline regulator, tippman Pro Carbine, bob long’s intimidator, dye DM9, Planet Eclipse m170R and TWISTR GEO4… now I have a Dye Lurker Series (with Bolt 2.0) and fatty seal modification and and an Adrenaline Luxe Idol. Polished pewter and polished gold. I sold my Adrenaline TM40 of the same colorway.
Coincidentally, my girlfriend also had a magic box. 🎉 In all seriousness, I love these videos. I look forward to more. LIKED, SUBSCRIBED, BELL ON! ❤
please shoot the marker in these videos lol
Before my team got sponsored by W'orr Game products, Bob Long, and the company that made the Evolution Auto Cockers, I shot an Automag almost identical to this, but it was green splash, not blue. The Magic Box from the All Americans/Smart Parts had almost no effect on the Automag in my experience. We had SO many guns come through our shop/team/field that had the magic box modification, and testing them on a known distance paint gun range, they really didn't have better range. Maybe that had more efficiency, but I really think based on my experience that it was a fugazi. We did our own mods in shop using either 4 or 8 holes - Mike Carey, my captain and boss at work, was the first person here in Canada to drill out the valves. It was fun times. Reading your comment regarding how the box could ramp up velocity as you explained, is right out of the All Americans play book. They cheated SO much, in every respect, be it wiping hits in the old woods field days, messing with their guns to increase velocity on the field (as you explained), and then cranking them down for the speed test that refs do on the guns at the end of the game (and beginning in the NPPL when I played in it from 93 to 97.) Their first electric gun, their "Shocker" was notorious for getting longer ranges in game, but then "ah hah", at the crono shooting a nice 285 or so. I call and called BS, they had some way of turning up the velocity on field when they wanted to. A guy who I played with for a couple years, Roddy McDonald, later played/coached/etc with the All Americans, and I know for a fact that they literally studied and trained how to cheat, exploit, use any advantage in the rules or outside of them, etc etc etc. Bill and Adam can suck it. Was so fun knocking them out of the playoffs one year when we were an AM team and they were the PRO team in our bracket. Love your vids, thumbs up!
So glad to see so many show up! Thanks for this.
Super cool
Imagine playing with a stock PGP or Nelspot and having someone pulls up with THIS bad boy......
We had a rental one at the Local Paintball place (Paintball Mountain) that was Purple on all the parts. We called it The "Purple People Eater".
Thanks Todd, where was Paintball Mountain?
Imagine walking through the woods and just getting tagged with a paintball out of nowhere...lol
Any idea what year Earon made Tim Stone’s Carter Comp? Earon made my Comp in ‘96 with a removable barrel and I was surprised when I got it since I always thought the comps historically had a fixed barrel. Love that marker.
Would you plan on doing a video comparing the older Nova to the newer ones that are being put out?
That man is a legend
Thank you so much for the video. I just got my Bushmaster back from cerakoteing and I wasn't exactly sure how the internals of my lever changer went back together. Thanks for saving my butt Dan!
Glad I could help, that's why all these videos are on youtube. Thanks so much and hope your Bushmaster turned out great!
I wish I could time travel...if I could I'd bring my doubke barrel doubke q loader 60 bps setup
really cool!
miss the videos
Me too, hopefully uploading again someday soon!
Would you plan on making any vids on the newer nova pb markers?
Hey bud, if this is you get a hold of me man I’d appreciate it. I miss you guys.
Bro, I know him personally, my father is Irving Hamilton he introduced to Jones goggle to the sport. This guy is a good guy. He gave me the very first auto Cocker off the line for my birthday.
Heh, we got to smoke the Hitmen in NPPL once or twice. Kinda felt bad ripping them with timmies but it was their choice to play 7man with pumps.
tytyty, you've saved the day. I had been looking all over eBay and Amazon, for a replacement quick disconnect hose, and now I'm on the right track, to restorate the macro air line.
Fuckin mask
Does anyone know who did this anodizing
As a former member of Junk Yard Dogs, I recall playing against SD guys at Fields of Fire. Good times. Wasn't Ricky Shroder and his dad on SD?
Awesome and yes, both Ricky and his dad played on Sudden Death. Here are a few questions about Junk Yard Dogs, what years did the team exist? Who was the captain? What was the majority of the team shooting? What was your home field? And who was your biggest rival team? Thanks!
@@baccipaintballThe team captain was Jerry Chotinoski. The years as a bit fuzzy but I know I was on the team when I got snapped for a pic in Frontline Magazine at the The Big Game in Corona. Circa 1987. I used to use an Annihilator clone from Mcmurray & Sons. Don't remember the others.
@@baccipaintballOur home field was Skirmish West lake but played Ambush quite a bit. We played against Strike Force (aka Wipe Force) a lot I recall.
Awesome, thanks so much for the insight@@baccracker !
@@baccipaintballUsed to see Ricky and his dad at Fields of Fire off Lyons ave.
What ever happened to this?
Thanks dude! Great video
.357 calibre
Thnak you very much Mr. Bacci for this video (and the parts that I purchased from your web site)! Now my Sheridan PMI 1 works like a charm!!! Awesome!
Yes, hi Tom! I'm pretty sure it was 1988 as that was the year we played what was billed as the 'Nationals' in the Poconos, Pa., then the 'World Championship in Nashville, Tn. -K. Wolfe, former member Louisville Raiders paintball team.
Sure do miss the good old days of paintball! Haven’t played with my mag in probably 20 years 😢
Watch the goods man! He didnt care one bit
