Thank you for sharing this! My family aren’t immigrants but just the way the world changed from their generation to mine meant that we could live so much better lives with so much more opportunities that they had no access to. I could relate so much to this video and it makes me feel less alone ❤ subscribed!!!

I wanna do this but how will I take care of my mom and myself. rent, bills, etc

Love this series, helps me keep perspective. Thank you!
Very insightful! Thank you for sharing.
I really dig the self-reflection Notion template! It's something that I've started to systematize in my life too, though right now my routine is a single "reflect on my north star" checkbox in my end-of-week checklist. Is the Notion template something that could be shared? Would be curious about giving it a try. 🤔
Great video!!
YAYY another episode! I’ve been following this for a long time now, and I especially love the startup perspective. I recently quit my job at G and am exploring as a solo founder, and it’s incredibly lonely and difficult. I feel re-energized whenever there’s an update here
The tunnel tops look like a nice place to work outdoors. Don’t worry Jenny, you just get better and better after 30😊
I can relate to you so much. Thank you for sharing.
I love your jacket ~ where's it from?
I got it in Busan, Korea! It was this random clothing store so I forget the name :(
Really like how you communicate ideas
Did you receive stock options when applying?
Yep!
such a nice concept, good luck to both!
thanks for tuning in ◡̈
I look forward to this series very much
thanks for keeping up with the series!
Good perspectives. I'm going to be leaving a big company to join a start up. Hope all goes well.
best of luck in your next endeavor, and thanks for watching ◡̈
I love this series so much, I just would love the videos to be longer. <3
aw thank you for tuning in 🥹
Starting your own startup sounds incredible, Jenny! 🤩Especially when you mentioned the independence, it really resonated with me. But I can also imagine going from a team to solo can feel isolating. Lots of new founders experience that - long hours can make it tough to connect, even though you're building something amazing! I've created a program to manage these feelings, and I'd be happy to chat and see if there's anything I can share to help you navigate those early stages ❤
heyamy and jenny love ur content man been watching you videos since FEW DAYS i think u need few keypoints through the captions and add music sound effects and improve ur colour grade. its bit appealing it can reach more audience. ankush here i specialize in video editing and have experience with projects similar to yours. I'd love to help enhance your videos content. I'd appreciate your feedback
Well Enjoyed the video🙌 I'm not really sure if it is the best time to ask but, I was wondering if I can help you create better distribution through your videos.
I love this series! I watch it like it’s a TV show. 😄
so glad you enjoy 🥰
I loved your video and found your presentation and reflections so helpful for those planning to begin a similar journey. I'm building a readiness checklist and reminding myself "there's never a perfect time", "the biggest risk is not taking a risk". Your messaging about courage compounds on itself and asking oneself would you rather risk security or risk losing the inner fire or inner drive really resonated.
thanks so much for watching! glad you found the video helpful ☺️
I quit my job Last week Need to explore life more
how do you pick and choose which startup to join? Especially in the early stages?
This is really the best series, I'm going through my founder journey like Jenny currently but I also really love seeing how Amy goes through her day at her job, the differences are great to see in one video
thanks for tuning in! happy to hear you enjoy the dichotomy 🥰
love this series!!
thanks for watching ❣️
First!!! Go go go Amy and Jenny! This series is so inspiring. I wish both of you best of luck and achievements in your respective journey! 🥰🥰🥰
TYSM for the support 🥹
Really fun event, looking forward to the next one!
It was so good meeting you and your partner, Sam!! Thanks again for coming out 🫶
Thank you for sharing! I’m a first gen as well. I can relate to your experience on many different levels, even though we probably had different upbringings. In my family, it is expected that I help take care of my grandparents and provide financial support to my parents during their retirement. While my parents have accumulated some wealth over their careers, the fact that they are overseas leaves me uncertain about what the future holds. I often find myself asking the question: If the world were to end, do I have the financial means to support myself and my family? Sounds ridiculous, but it’s true. I also have the desire to eventually start something on my own, but I grapple with a sense of guilt that I would "abandon my family" to pursue my own aspirations. I appreciate you sharing your story, and I am incredibly proud of what you have accomplished! Looking forwards to more of your videos!!
Hey there! Honestly, that question doesn't sound ridiculous at all - I remember asking myself variations of that same question in the past - just want you to know you're not alone in feeling this way 🥲 Appreciate the kind words and your support!
music in the basckgroung are awfull. you have a nice voice, why to put music?
Trying to start own thing to. How did you come up w/ your mvp idea?
I'm solving my own problem :)
@@amy_jenny True true! Doing hybrid independent tech consulting & trying to break into fitness & dating app as SaaS product then merge outwards. Analyze gaps, make better experiences, etc.

How did u come up with startup ideas? Currently trying to start my own thing.
I really needed this. I was so frustrated with my parents today
lol i feel that - hang in there 🫶
Hej!
Really good video!
appreciate you watching!
Great Content👍 ans also Subscribed

Super relatable I also Have quit my job 3 months ago to do a startup. Been blaming my self if even take a day off.

What is your startup? I apologize in advance if you explained this before in another video.
still in stealth :)
Where is this quote from? "Grass isn't necessarily greener on the other side, it is greener where you water it". It is AMAZING!
Hi! So glad it resonates! It's either from Neil Barringham or Wolfgang Puck - the exact origin of the quote isn't confirmed
Is that bowl noodle from Costco?
It is! ❤️
@@amy_jenny Nice.
New subscriber. I’m about to move to SF to persuade my second masters and, don’t ask me why, but I think this channel is going to help me in this new journey ❤️

@@amy_jenny I just got my F-1 visa TODAY! And now I’m planning my next steps. ❤️ is the new video ready? ❤️
This is really amazing, me being a early stage of my solo founder journey I can relate a lot. Its been 8 months into this journey for me. Loving all the ups and downs of this.
so glad to hear it!! we figured there's a good amount of people who overlap with both personas. more to come from us :)
My connection to this series just changed a whole lot today, I sent in my letter of resignation at my job and I'm planning to go out on my own full time and it's scary but I appreciate learning about Jenny's startup journey
wow - that's huge congrats!!! excited for your journey 🫶
been following the series and loved this one :) you guys should make longer videos!!
yay so glad to hear it - more to come from us :)
I resonate so much with this video! Love how you mapped out your mental journey. I'm currently in the wander phase (with some lingering presence of voyage) and am so glad to have found your channel because my brain can be all over the place during this confusing time. Watching this definitely makes me feel less alone!
tbh my brain still feels all over the place! it's a constant cycle of clarity and chaos lol but so glad this video resonated - best of luck on your journey 🫶
