I saw your video, in was incredible, kind of the one which comes in big hero 6, i have one suggestion, why don't you replace the copper plate with coils and generate electricity, just a suggestion 😅

Someone already designed & built an RC V22 Osprey. He was one of the original designer engineers of the V22 and got a license to use & build an RC model. I purchased one. Everything operates just like the real V22. He also did the programing for the engine conversion from helicopter to plane mode. It has a rotor span of 6 feet and a body length of about 4 feet. With Retractable landing gear. But this was way before the advent of drones.

I just starting seeing vid's w multiple motor's. Usually 775's and it seemed like there could be some problems there. Your application answered that!

i find this a waste of time and also a bitc stupid. I think when the disk is spinning the ability to turn any direction subsides depending on the speed of the flywheel.

Too many factors involved to compare to a more stream lined design. It did well somehow. Imagine doing 100 iterations and going upwards with the materials....

use plastic wheel to hold the magnets your out put will be more. the aluminum wheel holding the magnets spinning close to the coils is being slowed down by the field in the coils that the magnets are inducing

On the ramp, doesn't the generator car have more potential energy due to extra mass from the coils?

Even better make it chargable by hand then you can use the stored energy from that and make something like this but with the added ability to go farther then normal and maybe add more battery capacity too

Very interesting! I knew about a german monocycle called "Flyrad". Maybe, the skeleton of the vehicle could be changed by an air tank. The efficiency could augmented with the use of a heat interchanger and a phase changed material (probably paraffin). Additionally, I think it Is possible to create an hybrid "Flyrad", using supercapacitors in the aceleration and regenerative breaking. No lithium! No cobaltium!
