What products do you use on your hair? I think I have a very similar curl and texture to yours and my hair often looks frizzy and my curls are not well defined. This is lead me to get perms just to change my hair texture. But I would like to find a product line that works well for me.

I had a hairstylist try to convince me to do a keratin treatment. I told her no because I didn't want to ruin my curls. She said no, it won't, but I don't trust her.

How’d you style it if it’s not too much to ask? And how might I find out what type of curly hair I have and if I can even style it like that? I’m going into 10th grade and would love to wear my hair down when styled like that, I think it’s absolutely beautiful and I’d love to give it a try! Wow she looks so good ! I watched this over and over I can't beleive the bounce and non frizzy curl. I am 45 and I have naturally curly hair and most of my life it got brushed out to a big frizzy mess. My mom had wavy hair and didn't know what to do to help me look better she kept it in pony tail or braids never kept my hair down and when I got older and wanted to look like the other girls in my class I got into hair gel but used it to the point it looked OK but if you were to touch my hair it be hard and crunchy and by the end of the day it looked like I had alot of dandruff but it was from the gel dried and turned white. I would wash my hair every morning and repeat the process until my mom's friend one day asked me if I ever wanted straight hair and I did so much so I was sick of the crunchy frizzy hair so she took a iron the type you use on cloths and now my hair was straight as a nail ..lol I made my poor mom do this to my hair 3 times a week and damaged my hair bad so I got my own crimp iron and it had 3 different cartridges you could switch out and one was flat to make your hair straight and I used that and blew dried my hair. Now I keep my hair up in a messy bun because I haven't found anyone in R.I. who can cut curly hair I even went to a hair dressing school and they gave me a short Bob and I never went back !
