Rurikhan Unleashed

I don't know where this road is taking me, that's what's so exciting about it. I hope you'll enjoy the ride as much as me.

If a console version of WOW have a camera that follows like Dark Souls i will not play it. It needs to let the player zoom out, where you can adjust the view. I for one get dizzy if the camera get's to close. Hope i am wrong here. A perfect example of the (perfect) 3'rd person camera is RETURNAL on PS5

Even though it wasn't intentional and purely coincidental, I like to think that the character Quintus from Endwalker is Yoshi-P's extremely subtle F-U to Quin.

When I was a noob and didn't really know what I was doing in 1998 I actually bought a shield of hardening and thought I was cool and was walking by Brit bank and someone walks up to me and says my shield needs repaired and offered to repair it so not knowing anything I gave it to him and he says thanks for the shield so I was really annoyed and threatened to kill him so he says ok lets go to the graveyard just outside of town and says if I want the shield back I have to attack him and I did so 2 seconds later he kills me takes all my stuff but I wasn't even mad at that point I knew I had just learned a lesson and went back to the grind.

I only wish majority of content creator would make their videos as often as PP did. I mean, every video was a celebration, like a next book in a series. 10 min every few months and it was a cultural milestone in a gaming world. Now people like DSP are making 8h of "content" and are angry at us tht we are not watching... I stopped watching 99% of youtubers decades ago. I think modern media from press to videos are to much saturated. My favourite radio programme was a music one, 4 hours every full moon. We live in times were content is a job not only an artistic expression. Everyone needs to write a column or make a video just because. Algoritm, rent, attention span. It got ugly. PP was like a visit, nothing in it felt like going to work every day.

Most toxic part of the community is the insecure people on Reddit who can’t accept that a lot of old players hate world and post world mh. It’s like you can’t even critique that shit.

The worst part is that now that "AI" is everywhere, the models are being trained to "think" that these images are good, and we will see even more death to creativity. And this problem is not just on the internet, it's everywhere! Apartments and houses look the same all across the country...every bar is the same... Sucks, but I understand why you need to do it. Data shows that it works exponentiall better.

Nobody tells you to read the name you stupid, I rather read what it does and what it can do for damages than read stupid languages, do you want to read Captain America Steve Roger or Cause 3000 damages to the enemy? Yeah, no brainer.

Pay to Progress is actually pay to lose because you buy games to spend times with, and by paying more to cut that times means you lose content that you should be enjoying. Very L take.

10% of FF14's story is excellent. I forgot the other 90%. That's a problem. A lot of stuff that happens in it is not very memorable.

Realisticly shields will not work in any kind of super strenht situation because what holds you in place is not your strenght but your weight unless you have claws on your feet and can burrow them into the earth any kind of attack that has more force than gravity that is acting on you will send you flying like a cannonball its not just monster hunter but even other scenarions like capitan america blocking a car it doesen't matter that he is a super soldier there is nothing keeping him stuck to the ground

"Give a newbie a level 80 class and they'll be completely lost" Yeah no shit. You mean that class you're supposed to learn getting 1 or 2 abilities at a time over the 50 to 100 hours it takes to get there? But lets be real even the not sprouts will be lost if they somehow got to level 80 but never read what their skills do. They'll just wonder why they keep getting kicked from parties and wipe every raid

ESO wins in: combat, exploration, choices & complexity of quests, evergreen content (the WHOLE GAME is evergreen content. YOU CAN DO TRIALS(raids) AT LEVEL 3), community FFXIV wins in: story, cutscenes... basically all the things final fantasy is normally good at is good in FFXIV but you're seriously missing out by not playing ESO yet. FFXIV is good every time there's an update, but then it's bad once you've done all the content. ESO the same content can feel very rewarding with your time spent.

tbh, addons are not neccecery, but i would love for the UI to be way more customizable, as a healer i would love to be abel to adjust the sice on the buff i put on players ( shield etc. ) also the chat window is to big would love to make it much smaller.

The music is absolutely amazing, the MSQ felt very tropey and very campy to me… like it’s supposed to be this epic fantasy/cyberpunk adventure but parts just felt so over the top that it read more as Power Rangers fanfic meets high fantasy multicultural setting. It’s fun but I didn’t get any deep emotional attachment to the story or the characters, which to be fair I don’t expect from an MMO. MMOs are about the stories you have with friends in the game.

Getting upset over asuna ? If majority of dps players werent total morons forever bathing in aoes while shoving their tongues down the bosses throats ... then maybe healers would have time to asuna the entire team .... nah ... priorities .. healer, tank THEN if allowed then dps can get some attention ...

This is the reason why I create my own session every single time and I don't join anyone else's so I can set the rules. As soon as someone badmouths another player in the session - kick! If someone has a toxic shoutout when someone dies - kick! Simple.

Quin made all WoW players look bad. Made them look like people who only know how to stand and hit and couldnt recognise a video game mechanic if it stepped on their feet. Which is something I learned was pretty accurate to classic WoW. I've put over 80 levels of gameplay into Wotlc and it's been almost entirely just stand and hit. If you've never played any games in your life it's fine, but if you want interacting gameplay with mechanics it's unbelievably dull and boring.

I place to LVL 70 and think it's quite bad, actually. Characters are so one dimensional it feels like its made for babies IMO. I think so many aspects of the game were way below expectations, i cant justify spending any more money on these scammers..

Every quest in ESO being voice acted even if its just a insignificant little side quest beats the heck out of the hundreds of hours of glorified fetch quests that ff14 sends you on. Ff14 is such a slog

I am happy to see this interview, but you come across as kind of rude. You keep talking about how this won't get views because you're talking about an old web series and being WAY too blunt about not liking the TV show. I'm sure none of that made Geoff feel good. I'm not saying you should lie, but have some tact and be accommodating to your guest. And don't go on about the size of your channel, etc. It's just not a good look for an interview where the focus should be on the guest. Geoff and the other Pure Pwnage guys accomplished a lot and they deserve more credit/respect than that. And I'd bet their reach is still much larger than this channel.
