[Since everyone's made stories for this scenario I'll also give it a go!] Due to the events of the game "Sonic Mania", Eggman's lab was pulled into a rift caused by the Phantom Ruby. Some of his inventions were scattered across different realms and realities in the process - including a dormant Mecha Sonic! The metallic doppelganger soon finds himself on Stardust Speedway... Mecha: "What? Is this... Stardust Speedway?" Furnace: "TARGET SPOTTED!!" Mecha (confused): "Target?! Wait, what are you?" (Mecha Sonic avoids a slash from Furnace's claws. He also notices the robot's design, which is remarkably familiar...) Mecha: "Cease this! I am Doctor Eggman's creation, not your enemy!!" Furnace (stil slashing): "Negative. Eggman signature is foreign. You are prey." Mecha: "Prey?! I'll make you regret this!" (After a short brawl Mecha Sonic manages to incapacitate Furnace) Mecha: "Is that your best? The doctor was sloppy when creating you..." Starved (approaching in his eggmobile): "Curious! I was wondering why Furnace was taking so long!" Mecha: "Doctor Eggman?! What happened to you? What is going on?" Starved: "A long story, but you don't need to concern yourself with that." (Starved flies closer) Starved: "I must say, I'm quite fortunate to have found you! I could use another Furnace! (His stomach rumbles) Mecha (glancing towards the subdued robot, then at Starved): "... You would convert me into THAT?! A shoddy kitchen utensil??" Starved: "I have no need for you as you are. You could become something beautiful instead!" Mecha: "I've heard enough! Even if you ARE a Doctor you certainly aren't mine! Your end has come!!" Starved (speeds off in his eggmobile): "You'll have to catch me first." (After a lengthy chase Mecha Sonic is ambushed by Furnace once again, after being led around the stage, but manages manages to avoid their attack) Mecha: "Is that your best? How's this!!" (Mecha Sonic reveals a chaos emerald inside his chest, which arroved with him through the portal. Drawing power, he enters a semi-super state) Furnace: "Power readings irregular. Unexpected variable." Starved: "A chaos emerald? How interesting... Furnace, be a dear and liberate it!" Mecha: "I'll crush you!!" (Mecha retaliates once again but is unable to completely finish Starved or Furnace. With just a single emerald his semi-super state begins to fade) Mecha: "Enough of this!" (He blasts off, rerouting his remaining energy to his thrusters) Starved: "NO!! Furnace, stop him!!" Furnace (sparking from damage and struggling to fly): "U-u-unable to c-c-c-comple-e-e-e-" Starved (Furious): "HEDGEHOG!!" Mecha: "I wonder if that portal is still open..."
