  Hi! 😊 Yes, the ticket must be purchased from the driver for cash. If you want to visit the entire island - I recommend the long-distance Green Buses (greenbuses.gr/routes-en) or if you plan to stay in the capital and want to visit the surrounding towns - use the city's Blue Buses. Taxis are expensive.
