  Infantry / Cavalry does not go on an actual hex, they go near the area so you know they belong in that region.🤣

  15:14 I have a small box game, put out by Amigo Games, from 2006. It is called, “Weinhandler (Wine Cellar Sellers)” It was created by Claudia Hely & Roman Pelek. Plays 3-5 players Mayfair games is on the side of the box Players are competing to create the best Wine Cellar. There are cards and a set of different colored mini plastic wine bottles.

  just got this game... can't wait to play it. Noticed a small mistake during game play at 23:50 min... Michael plays dominoes 4-2 but grabs 2-2 on the board.. no biggie, but thought I would let you know... great playthrough video again... like always!!

  Thanks for the play thru! Suggestion: place the box cover in a better position on the screen. (In this case the upper left hand screen wasn’t used.) You couldn’t see Steph’s play area well.

  In Eclipse, there are little lines on the technology tiles on the right side that indicate how much energy the tech requires whether it's one, two or three...little horizontal lines...

  I like that they want to incentivise people to not always go full on war, but seems like the war strategy needs some adjustment... Maybe loosing one culture only even in epoch 2 and 3? Anyways, what is the point of a mechanic which does seldomly work out or won´t be persued due to the negatives...might as well get rid of that then completely...

  I was later told that his storage should not be increased with this power. So, that would help it a bit, but I am still not convinced it is balanced.

  Looks like a cool game! Not sure what to think about the 'randomly remove cards without revealing them according tot the number of players' (in rulebook). If you have 2 players for example you have to remove 30 cards (that's a third of the whole deck!)... it could mean there might only be half of the cards for 1 family in the deck (if 7-8 cards out of those 30 are removed from that family).. not sure if I like that. I'd rather see the family cards divided evenly (10 cards for each famliy).... did you find this to be an 'issue/problem' when you were playing this or not really?

  So we totally agree with you that we would prefer it balanced. We also feel the game is fast enough that even though it is not balanced it still might not matter so much (15 min game). so I can see both sides. It doesn't bother me too much

  Hi there, it was i beautifull video gameplay 😊 i pledge the game, and swear they can rebalance the war aspect of it. Maybe the war monger can attack everyone, but the others players can't. With this single rule change, the warmonger still have all the negative effects, but he will not be afraid about losing territories ora points. Seem fair enough, what do you think?

  Hello I have to say that I love pretty colors as well, but black is my favorite color and I believe it give contrast to other colors when paired appropriately. lol but I get it. I’m one of the fews that do. 😂

  I really enjoy these monthly reviews. First, you both know so many games that you can add context. Second, I appreciate how everything is explained, and that you state the game name at the beginning of the comments and repeat it at the conclusion (for me, so it’s possible to listen as if it’s a podcast while doing something else). It’s fun to hear an overview of the rules / gameplay - even if I’ve played the game. Great choices- and likely others you considered noteworthy A variety of weights and an emphasis on fun!

  I like your idea about fixing Word Traveler from being static. It hadn't even occurred to me that it needed fixing. Perhaps an expansion or promos with some alternate destinations that could be placed randomly would also fix? ❤

  Can you put a link to when you start actually talking about games ? The beginning banter about not playing games is boring and will turn people off that actually want to hear about games . Do that banter stuff at the end as final thoughts. Start those videos with " let's get right to it ! " This will help your following count . 😊

  You do not need to knwo the Gloomhaven rules to play this. it explains it all. But it also makes it clear which rules aren't like Gloomhaven (if you already know Gloomhaven). It was a clear rulebook!

  Thanks for the video. I think you are the first who release a lestplay for the 10th anniversary edition of the game. As far as I can see, the font in this version of the game remains the same as it was in the 5th anniversary edition. It received the most criticism, because of this, players preferred to buy the first version of the game. Do you have the opportunity to compare the 10th anniversary edition of the game with the previous ones?

  I don't have the previous one. I think it is only the art that changed though.
