Hello. Can you advise me please! The video shows the guy using no water on the headlight before applying the vinyl tint. I some people spray water on the headlight before attaching the vinyl? How do I know which method to use? Thanks:)@

Just started ppf this year been vinyl wrapping for 13 years and these hoods are super difficult I still struggle doing these in ppf

@@MohammedAli-kj9zj if your hair dryer can reach 200 degrees, but I don't think many, if any, can.

Is it recommended to park the newly tinted windows out in the sun during curing, or in the garage? Asking because I have heard the summer sun will cure the tint faster and also heard that a slower cure in the garage is better. Just want to prevent future peeling of the film.
@@PapaA7145 either way will be fine, but outside in direct sun will dry faster.

Love the video! But I got a question. I did mine and they both look good. Had nice and gloss to it, but I noticed after they dried that one of them was a little bit darker than the other one so I put a little bit of heat to it sprayed it a little bit And then applied more heat, but it turned out a little dull looking. Do you think if I got some clear gloss it would make it look right?
@dailyconfusion7222 the clear gloss will give it more shine. If it ends up being shinier, hit the other side with the same gloss spray and they should match.

Ppf will stay clear within its warranty period. If it does change color it'll be replaced under the warranty.

So..
came out great and i noticed you didn't spray the headlight or tint with water than apply.
A shop quoted me $300 for this
Hard to tell exactly how glossy it turned out on camera. Do you feel by heating the VHT after being sprayed that it eliminates the need to do a clear coat to get it that factory gloss look?
Heating it will help it smooth out. It has a gloss to it but it's not quite as glossy as fresh new factory paint job.
