DGN Driving

WELCOME! Hi, I'm Pin Binning,

I've been a driving instructor since 2009, and as well as helping learner drivers, I also train people to become driving instructors. Our mission is to help as many people as we can to pass their driving test and become better drivers.

Using all of my experience and knowledge I've created a Video course with over 35 videos covering every topic required to pass your driving test. In the course, I show you simple and effective techniques to master the essential driving skills. The course is created to supplement your learning journey

I have provided a link where the first three topics are free to access so you can be more prepared for your first few lessons.

You know it's going to be a good video when you say "drive off when you're ready" and you immediately hear a ping about a fault 😂

When i was learning, my instructors car was a 1.6 diesel. My car i was learning in along side that was a 1 L petrol car. The difference was huge. Also the fact that his was a 2015 ford fiesta and mine was a 1996 vw polo

A driving instructor charged me £610 for 10 lessons, I cancelled well before the first lesson and she only gave me £485 on the basis that she provided learning materials (much of which was public material / other peoples work). She made me wait two weeks for a refund and during that time swiftly added a refund policy on her website. How can I dispute this?

Sir all good- very important that you must have 2 more cameras on left and right front or door pillars showing the junctions while you are passing especially cross road junctions- also give a link of the dash cams you have used.

30:29 coasting! Like Amar, I do that. I keep pushing the clutch pedal whenever I slow down + downgrade a gear, to turn. Because I fear I could need to come to a full stop with the brakes, on an emergency, so I would not want to stall. But Pin's right, you want to keep full control of the car, and as long as you don't go to a full stop with your car you won't stall the engine. Good stuff.

Ran a stop sign, looked extremely late, almost failed to switch gears which would have caused the car to stall in this case.. So many faults

This brings back memories...from roughly a year ago(yeah I got my license not so long ago). I remember when my driving instructer asked me to pull in to a petrol station, "pull up next to this pump as if you were going to fill up" and I was more focused on where we were going next and not so much in the now. So when he asked " Could you pop the fuel tank and fill'er up?". I snapped back to reality and just went "I'm sorry, you want me to do what now?!" and at the moment everything I knew about the dash just dropped out. I didn't have that kind of interaction but geez, some people have no respect for learners and have indeed forgotton what it was like. Go Pheobe! And don't forget we've all had to be there at one point.

Japanese & Korean cars are most reliable lots of instructors & taxi drivers go with that. Ford used to be but let down with its mass ecoboost engine production wet belt degrading like crazy coolant burns always avoid! Enjoy your new car 🎉👍
