Awesome mate! My grandfather served in the 17th Galah Para Division WW2, they were dropped in by hybrid galahs into Crete, each bird could carry four men. By the way, disappointing to see you dismembered those old Timpo figures, I’ve got heaps of them sitting out in the shed, forts, wagons ect I always loved the Mexican and the Apache figure’s! I've read about the Flying 17th, nicknamed The Pandemonium's I believe. I was sad chopping up the Timpo figure, I also used to have a huge collection but over the years they have disappeared, 7th Cav were my favourites 👍

What brand is you small electric drill?
U.N. ruled years ago that since Ukraine didn't have any established borders then they were not an independent country but part of Russia. And the Russian government was given license to hunt Nazis by the U.N. since about 47 or 48
You need better music. Some nice classical or piano music, maybe some jazz. Otherwise good job on the build. Nice work.

Hey Denno, that's just insulation foam from Bunnings, if you're not in Aus, Bussings is just a warehouse building supplies/hardware store, you should be able to find anywhere like that mate.

About the road wheels: You glued he part containing the polycap the wrong way around, the polycap should be totally enclosed within the wheel.

Hello sir, the white horses and greys they were all reserved for the trumpets. It was a means of locating them in the melee of battle. greetings.
Nice video. i would prefer it though if it was explained what colours and washes you use.
I always thought in the movie that they made the Tiger too dark for Normandy. It almost looked like a gray paint. Seems in old movies that they always made any German vehicle gray no matter what. When in fact most had a prominent dark yellow base with the green and brown camouflage over it.
True, I suspect that if you are not really into the history grey is the assumed default 😋

Nice. Personally I would have went lighter on the trousers and a little more gray on the tunic. But I love it.
Thanks Richard, it’s tricky filming as the lighting can make a difference and I even get differences from one camera to another, and none of the pictures ever look exactly the same as it does in person, but I appreciate the feedback mate 👍
I totally forgot: I came to this video because I saw your comment you left for Thomas' latest vid (isn't he a crazy SOB? To build such a gorgeous pool like that out of nothing?) - which made me realize that I wasn't notified about your video - but I'm subscribed with all the bells and whistles, so that shouldn't have happened. Anything wrong at your end?
Thomas is a genius, one of my favourite creators by far, just such great great execution and story telling, he's a gun! I'm not sure what's happened with notifications, perhaps because its been so long between posts they have dropped off, but this video has only had about 10% of the normal views that one would typically get. 😭

I mean I struggle to see everything in 1/35, and as you mentioned many times, your vision ain't 20/20 anymore either. And what are you going to do with them? Put them in a diorama like Rorke's Drift? Hi Mike,, bloody good question mate, the scale is challenging for my painted on eyes, but I literally have a one foot square work space so cant do anything much bigger. Now this will make no sense at all, but my next project is Warlords Epic scale, so 13mm, I expect to be fully blind by the end of that, mum always said I would go blind, but I didn't think it was going to be from painting 🤓
The bag is a Sabretache generally used for carrying orders and dispatches.

My missus bought me one today, I'm undecided between the grey finish, or a white washed dark yellow gun... your video is swaying me towards grey...
Now that's a one in a million missus brother, hang onto her for sure!!!!! If I build another one, I think I would be tempted to go eastern front deep in winter, gun covered in snow and ice and crew trying to just keep warm and stay alive. It is a great kit, a true classic I believe for sure, enjoy the build mate. 👍
@HalidonDioramas hell yeah mate. Been having a shitty time of it and she surprised me with a Tamiya 1/48 Corsair, ICM Spitifre mk.IX, Airfix dambuster Lancaster, Airfix B17-G and the 88mm!
