  Iirc Garen + Yuumi was created as a way to deal with the terribly done revamped of adc items system, which forced people to play vlad, swain, and even old Aatrox to deal damage. Then this strat got countered when T1 brought Kayle bot for Teddy and this duo couldn't do anything about it

  Well, thats the thing right, the strategy is different and creative and a new way to think about the game, the only problem is that it rewards players for throwing and punishes players for winning lane and getting picks. At the end of the day you can kill him 20 times but he still gon walk on your tower tank a bunch of damage and destroy the whole thing anyway.

  It's a very old off-meta pick, but in the past, of seasons 1-2, where only viable supports were the healers (and somewhat Janna with shields), showed up a new pick, that surprised everyone. That pick was Gangplank Support by Dignitas. Also, the player who started playing AD Kennen in a professional setting was the Spanish player Jimbz from the GIANTS team. It was his actual main back then.
