  Thank you for your comment. For this staircase, we used the CAD software Moi3D (moi3d.com/). It is user-friendly, powerful, and affordable. For the CAM software to operate the CNC, we used Deskproto, which is also affordable and reliable. However, we are currently using the software pair Rhinoceros + RhinoCAM.

  Thanks for sharing. I am GOING to make a much smaller version of this in the back yard and use it as an outdoor clothes drying/winter snug area. I am also going to put a camp stove in it :) All on the premise that it is dismountable and not permanent as nothing is set in stone in this life, and you never know when you will have to move house.....

  The STL file was supplied by the customer and created by a 3D artist using photos. It is not a scan. And indeed the 3D model is of very good quality.

  Thank you for your comment. Regarding the softwares used, we used Moi3D to make the 3D file, Deskproto to make the G code and Mach3 to control the CNC machine.

  Hello. 6 years later it still works, but at the cost of many do-it-yourself repairs (change of the spindle motor, integrated circuit, axis motors, gears, etc.). It's still a very interesting purchase for those who don't have a big budget and who know how to repair the machines themselves (also hoping that it arrives safely from China). Maybe one day when we have more time, we will make a new video on this CNC.
