50:25 I was 13 years old in 1974 when the busing program started in Boston and I was so horrified by the pictures I saw on the 6:00 pm news of white racists throwing bottles, rocks, and other debries at school buses carrying Black children to South Boston High School. It was so similar to what happened to the Little Rock 9 at Central High School in Little Rock, Arkansas in 1957 which happened 4 years before I was born. When I took an Amtrak train to Boston in 1980 when I was19 yrs. old to attend the funeral of one of my relatives who lived there one of my other relatives told me what ever you do don't go anywhere near South Boston and I definitely heeded what my relative had told me especially after seeing those trumatic and horrific pictures on the evening news six years earlier in '74. It's like Malcolm X said no matter if you live in California, Alabama, Georgia, Michigan, or New York if your Black all of that territory south of the Canadian border is down south.

What concerns me in our current situation is that rather than forced eugenics you have a situation where people are potentially being led to submit to eugenics of their own volition. I don't want to engage in conspiracy theory but I think if you just look at the system that we have in America with the rising utilization of AI for behavioral and mental manipulation of individuals and groups as well as the rising medicalization of individuals and groups, it's easy to speculate regarding the potential implications of such a system.

If you dont know let me inform you, the world i mean. South Carolina has never adhered to any law the federal government has enacted!! To this day in 2024 this is still the case. South Carolina will always pass a law just close enough to the federal law to seem as if it is complying but just enough to still do whatever they want!! And hide behind the bible with all of the crooked evil deeds!!!

A brilliant documentary! I especially liked Richard Newman’s humanizing commentary. Also goes to show how long the Axelrods have been politically wielding Positioning in government. The one big link that nobody in the comments cares to draw, however, is to that O-So-Sacred-Military-Budget, annually, bi-annually, semi-annually. IF any of the joint branches had been tasked with that clean-up, not only would it have been completed in about 1.5-3 months or so (completely), but EVERY family within that toxic radius COULD have been removed, rehoused, & eventually, relocated as a result, in military fashion, step-by-step. It’s one thing targeting reputed “rogue” bureaucratic reams of red-tape and incompetency-which DO exist, to sometimes considerable losses of life, sicknesses, pathologies, etc., too. That’s real. But without re-prioritizing the “govt” that exists, it’s always just a matter of time, geology, & greater ineptitude & corruption before the identical problems form a pattern all over again. It’s certainly a quandary that exceeds both political parties’ campaign spending & financing. There may very well come a point of one-party rule at that. And Soon. But until the entire national budget is scrutinized, audited, reviewed & re-purposed to SOLVE problems, causing more problems is all that government as a monolith can be counted-on to do, in actual fact, (& throughout history). It doesn’t matter to individual families 1/10th as much as they think it does which political “party”rules the world. The sheer distraction of focusing on them seems to be all that “government” needs to buy itself all the time in the world to destroy more lives at its random, addicting, haphazard “political” whimsy. What I’ve observed is this: living 250 feet away from “equal treatment under some law” is truly, epically TERRORISTIC, & horrific. I’m amazed that even in disastrous circumstances, people of the USA-concept STILL manage to draw color lines & be lauded as “champions” of anything by delivering “justice for some, sometimes, if we like you, if we ‘feel’ that you “deserve” any, if we feel that people ‘belong.’ “ Which, of course, certainly isn’t any true justice at all. In 1980, the recently-formulated EPA & other agencies were functioning. They were relatively “new.” They had a point to prove & did so fairly adequately, given the volatility of this issue & the special interests of so-called jobs creators, financiers and officials regarding Love Canal. But how easy is it in ‘24 to obtain reports of such a nature as those activists obtained from any agency known? How many face-to-face meetings will they agree to take with ANY untitled members of the public today? How many community planning boards and neighborhoods KNOW how to organize and do so regularly & effectively anymore? How many have the info they would need to AVOID buying a potential disaster-zone plat of land today? Where would one go to get such information, per city, per state?? Realtors? Bankers? 😂😹😿😢 That’s why the squabbling over two (2) political parties serves one purpose overridingly: keeping masses of people convinced that voting is “participation,” that payrolls deliver efficiency, that all sorts of untruths are “true” if a politician says so-all so that Mass Confusion can be perpetuated to enthrone some master grifters for 8 years instead of 4, 12 years, instead of 6, & whole careers for people who serve no constructive purpose yet determined. All for want of a nail, in most cases. When you observe what could be done with only typewriters, telephones, copiers, & organized unity in 1979, you can’t HELP but marvel at the fecklessness of nearly every invention & innovation ever since!! Simply staggering. How many families moved there, after all, as employees of the Hooker Industries complex, & its adjutant “jobs creators,” to begin with, like that coffee shop spoken of by Mrs. Barbara Quimby (R.I.P.)? She’s 💯 Correct, btw. Those whose roles caused and sustained Injustice deserve to make atonement, for ALL of the harm. ⚖️🌱⚖️🌱

Amazing. I went to school in the rural South. My high school class integrated in 1970 without incident. We built a larger new school and brought in both the teachers and students from the former all-black high school. I feel fortunate we had no protests or violence. Boston was still arguing when we all graduated in 1974.

I’m not a woman, but until to see the issue of passing the ERA…. The data needs and free speech and processes over time and space. I’m also not a historical expert of all these things… but efforts and backlash and group dynamics… I stand with helping and integrity. And, dilemmas tend to challenge these interactions. Why wouldn’t they… none of us are perfect.

The real culprit in this disaster was the City of Niagara Falls. There were warnings in the deed that made it clear that there were chemicals buried in Love Canal which were dangerous. Hooker had refused to sell the land for years, it was only when they learned that the City was ready to act on eminent domain and take the property that Hooker sold the land for $1.00. In the deed it said that no construction could be in the area, no drilling or digging. And the clay cap that sealed the canal could not be touched. The city allowed developers to build, and run sewer lines and other utility lines right through the canal, piercing the barrels. The clay cap had beed leveled and the soil was used as the foundation for the school. You can read the actual deed online, once you do you'll never approach this subject the same way. There was a huge effort to keep the blame off the city of Niagara Falls.
