There's a thread on a music video by them in 1966, where some of the grandkids of the band get on and comment on their granddads. It's great.

Wow! These guys sound just as good as they did when 15-year-old-me saved my nickels and dimes up to buy their 45 record from Dearborn Music store in Dearborn, Michigan. Years later I put that record in my vintage 1964 Rockola juke box (the one with the window where you can see the records vertically spinning around until the selected one is rotated into the turntable). Those go-go dancers did are great job too... very creative and gorgeous!

What a transformation from The Syndicate of Jazz to rock. Similar to The Crossfires/Turtles. Little Girl is among my favorite all-time garage hits. Read about the sad news of the recent passing of John, a fine drummer. May he rest in peace.

My Favorite song as a kid, and still never get tired of playing this vid, SO well done! In 1966 when I was 10 I use to sit/ride in the Passenger seat of my cousin's 65 Red Culass 442 Vert White interior, 401 4 speed, and when this song came on, I remember my cousin had to get on it. THAT was a car! We'd pull up to Stop lights on HWY 100 in West Allis Wis and he'd lay a 20 on the dash and yell at the guy in the car next to him "Wanna run em?" He was only 15 with a PERMIT and my Uncle/My Godfather bought it for him at the auction. It was hit light in the front, so he put on new fenders and hood/radiator and grill, but NEVER got to the Bumper. What a FAST and hot car! Such a Rock'n/innocent time !
