I forgot to mention in my original comment that i wont be buying from simply posh anymore. After buying 2 palettes with unusable shimmers and only getting an $8.00 refund, I'm done!
The Winter wonderland palette is definitely not a monochrome color story, it has purples, blues and turquoise/teals.
You are correct. I don't have the palette and remembered it as having 2 colors blues and teals. I looked at the palette again afterwards. This color scheme is called an analogous color story made up of colors that are near each other on a wedge of the color wheel. Analogous color stories are a step above monotone but still not super interesting particularly for a palette with 20 pans, in my opinion. I know this was a lot of people's favorite palette last year, so my opinion is clearly in the minority 🙂

Shaz, I would like to see a video like this on singles. I really never liked the BH formula, and I decluttered all of the ones I had. BH's formula faded on my eyes, but they had great colorstories. After using different singles in my collection, I like Shine by SD the most. Mattes Natasha Denona, EnsleyReign, and Sidney Grace are my favorites.

@@KaliKali-hv9bt I stopped listening to all that stuff. At one point or another, every brand owner did this or that, cancel cancel cancel. I figure we're all human and make mistakes. Brand owners are human and make mistakes. All we can do is try to be better. Unless they are actively continuing whatever behavior they were called out for, I'll give them a chance. I felt like we were all supposed to be mad at someone every other week, and it's just exhausting to spend so much time on the negative. If they try to correct the behavior moving forward, that's all any of us can do. I would hate it if the mistakes of my past were constant in my future. Especially if I was trying to change and be better. I will say, once I stopped following the trends of who everyone was mad at, I was a lot happier. 🤣
Saints Angel's Sinners discontinues all their palettes, don't they? I stopped buying from the brand because, reasons. But one thing I noticed was when the palette sold out it rarely came back. So they become irrelevant, really fast. I listed most of mine awhile back. I kept Coco though, because it was such a pretty palette LOL.
I agree. I stopped for the same reason, also because of pre-orders. By the time I received a palette it was irrelevant. There is also a lot of controversy about this brand. I don't like to buy from extremely controversial brands. I had Coco, I agree it was a beautiful palette, one of the few neutral leaning palettes in my collection. A friend of mine really liked it, so I gave it to her.
i have a feeling Glossier is trying to appeal to the "sephora kids" who go in and buy luxury makeup with their parents credit card. but that fad may have already run its course. I don't know if any 9-10 year olds are still raiding and destroying sephoras everywhere lol. also I agree with you on everything! Love your eye look too
Hello 👋 how are you doing? What a coincidence; I was talking to my mom about your wedding this morning. I don’t go to Sephora enough times to know but a friend who lives in SF bay told me the Sephora near her house continues to be full of pre teens 🤔 so I suppose it is still a thing.

Good afternoon! New to your channel, you showed up in my suggestions! I have been carefully choosing my purchases and even branching out to other topics. I do love lip oils ❤ but I like them to have a color too! I never get chapstick anymore but I do have a Vaseline lip balm and still like carmex❤. I never have luck with stick on nails . There are not many new releases grabbing me!

Yaaaaaaaaas the PH lip products Sooooo old news in the Middle East we used to have them in a green component and called’em The Magical lipstick 😂😂😂😂 We didn’t know what is it but it’s green bullet and then when you apply it it’s a pink so it’s magic for us 😂😂😂😂😂

Ensley Reign is a top 3 brand for me, but I do not like the new release, and I am gonna pass on the Cosmic Dreamer, the pink row is too much. I bought Adept Amyloves, I use the heck out of my adept eyeshadows, and Adept and Ensley Reign pans are the same, and I make my own colorstories with them. L'occitane is the MLM brand you might be thinking of. I am excited about Diverune and Wicked Widow beauty palettes.
That is it! L'Occitane Group owns Sol de Janeiro. They bought the company in 2021. I watched a swatch video of the Ensley Reign and think I can dupe it! So maybe this one is a pass...

Ensley Reign cosmetics is my favorite brand. The mattes are glorious actually. It isn't like Adept's older palettes where you had to overlook how the mattes were because of the special shades. I don't think you would be disappointed.
That is great news! I saw someone swatch the palette, and think the shades look so pretty, but I think I can dupe it! It is hard to have a giant singles collection and not be able to dupe everything 😒
I have a larger singles collection as well, but there is something about the choices in harvest moon and cold moon that I believe add something special to my collection. I didn't pick up groovy gardens because I felt the special shades weren't my favorite, but I keep looking at the mattes in that palette, and am torn. I do love their matte formula.

I am going to do this, but if you are planning to pick up Baubles at the Glaminatrix sale, my video might not make it to that. I can tell you that Baubles is NOT a dupe for Lucid Lavendar. They have distinct shades. Baubles does not have a lavendar-purple shift, and the teal shift in Lucid Lavendar is not as vibrant as Baubles'.

I think I need to join you in this no-buy because because I never realized it, but now that I hear you say it, I definitely have a collector's mentality. I'm embarrassed to admit I have just as much makeup as alot of youtuber influencers/MUA's and I've only started using makeup 2-3 years ago. I think it was a replacement for me. I really think the empty nest thing hit me really hard when my boy's left home, and this was how I occupied myself, but I seriously need to get it under control. Doing this along with you might make it easier for me to keep myself under control. 😊 So good luck to the both of us!

I love indie singles. I have a little over 500, and just placed a looxi and clionadh order. I needed to cheer myself up because I’m dealing with so much pain, just had my second surgery for endometriosis and had a hernia repair at the same time😢 didn’t really have the money to waste, but I’ve been bummed out, and I hardly bought makeup at all last year.
Colorful makeup is healing and therapy for me to :-) I am sorry you had to go through pain. Sometimes spending money on things that bring joy is needed. There is art therapy out there, for us it is makeup therapy!
